The biggest difference between Authentic and a Replica is that there aren't numbers on the front of the jersey on the replica for teams that use one, such as the Dodgers, A's, Royals, Mets...etc. For teams that don't (Blue Jays, Rays, Red Sox) it doesn't matter as all, but it is a big deal breaker for me.

Exactly. It really is the thing that pisses me off the most. I mean, even in authenticated places like the MLB store they offer these replica jerseys that don't even try to look like they are being used on the field, without numbers on the front, or logos on the sleeves. You might as well at that point get a t-shirt, it's 1/4 the price, and just as realistic. Another thing that is more obscure and rare, yet just as if not more frustrating, especially for a Giants fan like me, are the fact you can't find a jersey with no name on the back. Red Sox and Yankee fans are also in this situation, where you can either get the jersey with the name on the back that makes it look extremely fake, or pay $250 for an authentic jersey. I swear, why do they have to make it so difficult sometimes? Why couldn't they have just taken a carbon copy of the actual jersey, and just put in on a replica?

I've got a NY Yankees Jersey with 13 and Rodriguez on the back. An ex bought it for me years ago but I still have it and wear it. I actually thought it was fake because there was no MLB logo on the back. And I know Yankees shirts don't normally have the name of the player on the back. But seeing your first Harper jersey I could see the labels were exactly the same. And you don't have an MLB logo either. That actually gives me some assurance that it's genuine. Cheers for this.

the easiest way to tell is the sticker at the bottom, the real ones the players wear have the exclusively engineered for majestic authenticmajor league baseball flex base and then the size, maybe +2 inches depending on the player. plus the end of the jersey will be blank, like the yankees will have pinstripes but the bottom will be blank, assuming cause they're tucked in and you can't see it

Thanks for your question! I used to always buy from an Aliexpress store run by Aimee Smith but I think it recently stopped selling products. I typically recommend buying from whoever has the highest seller rating. Check the reviews of the jersey and see if anyone has uploaded pictures.

+jayprince5511 Flex Base is Majestic's latest (and more expensive) innovation of the authentic on-field model jersey. Essentially, it's the same material as last year's authentic on-field Cool Base jerseys other than there were some minor changes. This year's on-field jerseys have more mesh inserts which run down each side of the jersey, and along the back tail of the jersey. This look isn't aesthetically pleasing, especially for teams with pinstripe jerseys, but is designed for players comfort. Another new feature on the jersey are the kiss cut letters and numbers. Kiss cut letters and number help make the jersey even lighter. This style is hardly an innovation, as it has been used for years in hockey, and recently in the NFL. To top off this new and innovative upgrade, the jerseys also features a new rubberized MLB patch on the back of the neck, and a new Majestic logo embroidered on the sleeve. Although both of these particular features could be seen on last years jackets. Hopefully that helps.

The MLB logo on the fake jersey has the guy holding a wooden 2X4 like he's in a bar fight and the there is ALWAYS a white stitched line coming from the ball on every counterfeit jersey. That alone should tell someone that their jersey is fake lol.

My go to is just look at the spacing of the numbers different layers. The blue and the white that highlight the red are even and they are shown more on the real jersey. On the fake jersey the white takes up all the space and you barely see any blue.

I ordered a Pillar jersey off this website and I'm happy with it, the only thing that I don't like is that the font on the back of the jersey is smaller than a regular mlb jersey, is it fake? Because everything else is the same as a replica MLB jersey..

It definitely depends on the team and the length of the last name. Some players have such long names that they make the font slightly smaller to make room. The BlueJays do use a different font on their jerseys than some of the other teams so it could still be legit, but if you didn't order it from the MLB Shop, fanatics, fanzz, etc, it could very likely be fake. What website did you order it from?

+Diamond Vault That might be something worth considering! The AliExpress jerseys fit a little big on me, but they recently changed their sizings. The Medium in my video was a 48 but the new Medium is a 40. Each seller is different, but I would probably go with a Large because in the new sizing it would be a 44. If they are still in the old sizing where Medium = 48, then I would stick with that.

I order most of my legit jerseys from the MLB Shop (shop.mlb.com) or through Fanzz.com or Fanatics.com. Most team websites run their stores through the MLB shop which is actually powered by Fanatics.com anyway. The inventory across all three sites is usually the same.

+Cam Perry All of my MLB jerseys are from a store called Aimee Smith (store 512754) but I believe that particular store no longer sells anything because they don't have any products currently. What you need to do is sort your search by seller rating. Most "reputable" stores on AliExpress have multiple diamonds as their rating. Look for ones that have a lot of purchases and have been in business for multiple years. I have seen quality vary from store to store on the same jersey but most of the time seller rating is the best one to judge.

I live in Billings, MT. I couldn't find one online so I went online and got the number for the Chase Field team shop, and I called the shop. For some reason they didn't have any authentic ones at the time so, I told them I wanted the black one and they put in an order to Majestic for me. Majestic sent it to the Chase Field shop, and they then sent it to me. I got my jersey a month after I ordered it, so it took some time.
