Your Demonstration goes wrong because you did not Store and Show the maximum force before the knot passed the small ring!! When using such an elastic Cambium saver the maximum strenght will never reached when falling into für Rope!!

I have some concerns with the pinch points as the rings impact the block. Not sure I care for this. You are also side loading the gate of the block in a direction not designed for. You would be better off having a separate sling and have them close together yet not touching.

I’d be really interested in some information regarding the benifits of using this device over any of the already available devices? As someone already mentioned it appears (from this brief demo) to be a less efficient device but with similar concept of the wrench other than perhaps easier to remove ? More info would be greatly appreciated and much respect for you’re constant dedication and development of techniques in our industry 🙏🏻

Just a few advantages: first of all, it has an internal cam and doesn't need a stiff tether, so it's very compact. It can be adjusted according to the weight of the climber or his preference just pushing a "button". It can be used for rescue or for long descendings. It can also be used in drt without take it away from the rope.

A rope wrench? With all the respect I don't get the difference aside from bulkiness of your prototype 🤔

@@GiorgioFiori first of all - thank You for reply! I see the advantages when descending but how about ascent? Without a stiff tether it will lay on hitch while ropewalking causing it to slip which potentially can lead to fall...

@@oxyehho Did you understand this from the video video? So I've been risking my life for 11 years? The system is CE certified, so it has passed all European safety tests. I'm amazed how you can state things, without seeing it live

I believe I like this device. Sure would love to see more footage of you using this in the field. Your contribution to the industry was noticed by me, way before you shared this with us. Giorgio Fiori, I salute you hoss. Your certainly leaving a footprint of your existence in the Tree Life. Well done🤙💪❤🙏😁

@@GiorgioFiori I am not "stating" anything here, I ask. I understand the following: 1 the weight of Your device is slightly bigger than any known ropewrench. 2 by the experience with several rope wrenches I know what happens when you use a tether which is neither stiff nor long enough. It happens to push on your hitch or zigzag while ropewalking. That's what I see from my perspective.
