Hey, Gerald! Good to see another great video! Ronnie East, Tennessee

I noticed you faced the head last. When you milled the seat pocket your dial indicator was touching what I would see as an unknown surface. So you didn’t know the depth to go. Or were you using a different touch off point just curious 🧐

Would prying on the main caps have an effect upon your endplay measurement? They weren’t torqued to specifications right?

Gerald, don’t know if you have ever tried doing this or not but instead of dabbing a little assembly lube/grease from the tube on threads etc some years ago I got in the habit of using a small paint brush when I had tube assembly lube have a blowout. Since then I have been squeezing the tubes of lube into a “pot” I made out of an old cartridge filter housing. Additionally I learned a long time ago it far better to scoop a couple three tablespoons of anti-seize of its factory container and put it in another container and then dilute it with a some mineral oil or ATF which in turn makes it much easier to paint onto the shafts and threads of bolts. The reason I take a couple three tablespoons at a time from the factory container is to keep the anti-seize in that container fresh and not contaminated with who knows what. Have a great day and a better tomorrow

Dear sir is it possible to have a video on your engine stand of its upgrades for more efficient and user friendliness ? Kit from down under

Gotta agree with your bearing clearance especially with Daido bearings. It may lose 5 lbs of pressure but you get twice the flow to cool the bearing, and any tiny debris just flushes out.

Real nice engine build Gerald. Next level engine building for sure. Have a good evening. Happy New Year. 🙏

With those set clearances and being an aluminum block. What oil weight are you recommending to run? They do seem rather large then what im use to myself.
