Seeing all the work that goes into something like this, I gotta wonder how pricey this was for a single full set if it were inflated to today's currency

I’m a sheet metal fabricator. Nothing special, I take pride in my craft but I’m always amazed at metal fabricators. The guys who come in and make special equipment or orders for people.

I appreciate seeing another tradesmen using tools like tools. I’m soooo sick of this perfection manicured shops with sterile tools and brand new everything in every video for marketing and sponsors. Sooooo fake

Absolutely beautiful work (as usual - I just found your channel and am amazed at your skill). The question I have has to do with Star Wars cannon: Is Mandalorian armor supposedly made of metal or some sort of advanced polymer?

When you see videos of guys putting on entire suits chainmail, padding, and armor..you realize why they had squires to assist them. Regardless the amount of work that went into forging armor was incredible

No wonder metal armor was reserved for knights or the elites. The time and effort put into a singular helmet. 😮

A full suit of plate, customised to the wearer, would cost up to £40 in the 15th century, which is around 30-50k in todays money

How they actually did it in the medieval times is simpler, pour molten metal over a mould.
