I'm having a similar issue with my oven. Looks like the same model. I'm confused though. If it's the igniter, shouldn't the oven not heat up at all? I mean, if it ignites, why would it be slow to heat up? No ignition = no heat. I don't see how a bad ignition can lead to slow preheating. What am I missing? In my case, I see ignition, i.e. there is a flame, but its slow to heat up, and I do get a slight smell of gas, which is concerning. I'm not an expert, so I don't want to rule out this video, but I'm failing to understand how a bad ignition can lead to slow preheat times, rather than no heat at all.

I saw this video yesterday, Dec. 14, 2024 . I had tried flashing it with the drill method and that did not work. I have a 2008 Briggs & Stratton 8200/5500 watt generator. I did exactly what you said to do with the battery and wala!!! It started and continue making power. Thanks a bunch. Chris

I have a white wire that I don't know where it goes. I didn't cut the wires on the old one I used the new part with those wires so a white wire came off and now I don't know where it goes. Lol. Help

Water heaters come with dielectric nipples already installed for both the hot and cold side therefore it's completely unnecessary to have a dielectric union as well. Don't need it.

THANK YOU! My oven was taking at least 10 minutes to ignite. I got a new igniter on eBay for $18 and aside from having to drill out the first two screws, had the new igniter installed in about 15 minutes without any issues. Now my oven ignites in 30 seconds!

So is the outside screen the problem here? If so, what is it that is failing? I don't see cracked glass. Maybe just cleaning it really good will fix the issues? Someone on this comment thread said to clean with pledge, but I have also seen comments on other forums that say do NOT clean with anything other than soap and water, as you don't want to leave an oily residue. Pledge is made to clean wood, and does leave an oily residue, so not sure thats the best thing to use. Just trying to understand what exactly is failing with the screen?

I used the electric drill and put a drill bit in it then attached a battery powered drill to the drill bit. I energized the battery powered drill, it turned the electric drill in reverse and it worked!

My hustler spindle fell down , I can’t figure out what holds the metal around the spindle onto the deck

Has anyone had any issues with the SERVICE LOW BATTERY light coming on after changing the screen out? The screen works minty now with no issues. Just not sure why the SERVICE LOW BATTERY light is on now. Battery is new and alternator is working as it should. Thanks in advance.
