Thank you! This is just the video I needed! I needed to replace my 2014 Honda Odyssey inner tail light assembly. There are a lot of videos about it... but this is the *best* because you absolutely don't need to disassemble the whole back panel, as shown here. I watched this and it showed me that I needed to get a universal joint socket adapter to get to a couple recessed nuts. I ended up using a 1/4" wrench, with a long socket, plus the joint socket adapter. I'd put a picture here, but don't see an option to do that in youtube comments. Thanks for mentioning that the nuts are 5/16" so I was able to go directly to the correct socket size. Total process, including grabbing tools (screwdriver, wrench set, etc) was 21 minutes. My local mechanic, who has been very competitive in other instances, quoted $421.60 for the light assembly (was it OEM??) + $140.00 for labor. Total $596!! I paid (including tax): $121 for the light (it was "Depo" too, even though the Amazon listing didn't mention that) + $10 for the three piece joint socket adapters.

I’m having trouble reinstalling taillight due to the white alignment pin not lining up with the slotted hole. It’s just but off to the right of the hole. Any suggestions ? I’m tempted to remove the alignment pin and just nut up the four bolts.
