Get yourself a thin strip gauge and thank me later, also don’t ever cut stock with the piece sandwiched in the middle of the fence and the blade it will bind, the piece can shoot back at you rapidly.

Notice that your fence has a T-slot. This allows you to make even simpler jigs that are incorporated into the fence.

Love your Blue Meany push stick! I’ve made jigs like the first one. It would be easier to keep it registered to the fence if the handle was longer fore and aft like the push stick. The round peg handle makes it difficult to torque it against the fence. If the jig and stock were long enough to pass the splitter before completing the cut everything would stay put better. I’ve re-sawed thin strips thinner with this type jig.

Is it possible to tune the fundamental and the partials? Is there any way I can hear only the fundamental? I hope you can help me!

I’ve just re-made my screwdriver holder for the French cleat wall. The first one I had all my screwdrivers on it, so was quite wide and being 4 rows deep it tended to want to tip off the cleat as I didn’t make the downwards support angles long enough. Instead of 1 rack I have now built 3, moved the lesser used PH and Torx screwdrivers to separate racks and the PZ and Straight on the main rack. The other thing I did different was to drill the holes to just the width of the screwdrivers + 1/2mm. They now stand much more upright and don’t wobble around

Great jig! TIP: When I have a small piece of exotic wood that I want to use every last bit of it for splines, I glue it to the edge of a wider board and continue cutting of slices.

Seems like a lot of un-neccessary work and expense. If I have to buy a Lathe, Table Saw, Scroll Saw, and . . . . . . this will have cost me several thousand dollars ( to repair / re-build a $150 dollar wind chime)

I just tried this on about a two-inch thick piece and it almost got thrown back in my face because there wasn't enough downward pressure. The piece was about 2 in thick by 2 in wide by 15 long
