.y mother cut onions like that. She passed away in 2015 from cancer at the age of 71. My granny taught both of us how to cook. She r raised 10 children during the Depression. She died in 2009 at the age of 96. She had 216 descendants 6 generations I was born on her 50th birthday and my eldest don was her 50th Great grand child. She and my grandfather were married for 56 years. ❤
