Nonna Pia's Version of Italian Ice!

Nonna Pia reminds me of my little Grandna Armentrout. She stood only 4'11 and my Dad, her son, stood 6'2"...whenever Grandma never asked for anything but I remember taking her grocery shopping and she would sometimes look at a ribeye steak and shake her head because it costs so much but while she was still shopping we'd go buy the steak and put it in the car and whenever we took her groceries into her home we'd take the steaks in along with everything else. She would put everything up and that's when she would see the steaks. Love my beautiful memories!! ❤

😂😂 Back in the early 70's Frank Zappa recorded a song "Don't eat the yellow snow"....It was a big hit....The main lyrics were "Watch out where the huskies go and don't you eat that yellow snow"....I immediately thought of that song when Anthony said that to Nonna....My Nonna Millie made ices the same way for me snd all my friends back in the 60's....Fresh snow with lemons and oranges and sugar....What a treat !! Thank you Nonna Pia for always bringing back such such cherished memories for me...I miss my Nonna....Sending love to you both ❤

Nonna Pia Just made an Italian Ice Snow Cone. I Love her. I miss my Italian Sicilian family. Who came to USA through the front door. The chemicals found were bad and the levels of them even worse. There is a reason two states have already banned the spraying. I agree with you that we do not see everything prior to editing. She may have prayed for those things to be removed. With all the things happening not all comments are negative. Some are just informative. People communicate differently. Have a blessed day!
