Guy, I got it to the reset screen but when I click ‘OK’ on wipe data/factory reset, the remote highlights it in green but nothing happens. Even if I hold the ok button down for a sec or two… still nothing. What could be the case? Thanks

You're the moron. You have evidence on your system and you are looking up on how to "FACTORY RESET" your system? Just so you know, you lose your recording when you change your hard drive or format your hard drive NOT factory resetting your system.

My trouble is the watch no longer turns on. It has been charged. I gave tried shut down (15 seconds) and reboot (3 seconds). Still no luck. ☹️

I messed around with the charger and found it had not charged properly. So it is charging now.

You might be having a different issue with your recorder. You might have to call Lorex

It should, but try this. unplug your recorder, disconnect all the wires from the back. Wait 1 full minute, then power it back up with nothing connected to it. And see if that works. If it does, you might have a problem with 1 of the wires or the hard drive.

I will try this, i called customer service a couple weeks ago they had me just unplug it from the power ultimately they told me that my monitor was the issue but we had already been using it, we also replaced the power adapter bc i saw in another video that that might be the issue but it didn’t work

Try, Holding down the Surround + Exit + Clear buttons for 3-5sec, the unit will clicks off for a second. Also make sure none of the speaker wires are touching.

No, the only different is if you can't get to the main menu. Then you use the button method.

I have the Cooper smart dimmer and when I connected it I had the lamp on and now nothing works, only the lamp remains on and a single green light is on. I don't know if it went into protection mode or it burned out. Does this reset work for that model? Did something burn when connecting it? I appreciate you helping me. Thanks.

It could be the light bulb. Make sure it's a dimmable bulb and it can handle the wattage. Most dimmers can't handle 1 LED bulb that's under 6w.

Unfortunately not. Electrical guy installed two U6+ and ubiquity switch which don't cover my living room so i purchased a U6mesh i configured easily with laptop soft . All connected by cat6 on switch. I see both u6+ but can't put them in same wifi than mesh. Electrical guy asks me 500 euros to come.

Unbelievable, It should've been on your account from day one. Just reset it and add it to your account, this way if you ever need to change the WiFi name or password. You don't need to call anyone.

Not sure what you mean. By the section? To reset the panel to its default settings using section programming, go to section 950. But you will need the installers code.
