Hi, As I've started learning Wing Chun Kung Fu, going on 3 months now from home, I can see techniques from WC. From 3:43 onwards, it seems that Sifu Frank is employing the "Pak Sao" block simultaneously with " kuen" ( punch) before that I believe Frank was employing "Biu Sao" or "Gan Sao?" To guard the lower body?

WTF?! That first crap is not JKD, and all your other stuff is awful Please, stop. No wonder people think JKD is a joke.

So for starters, both Sifu Bruce and his notes taken from Jack Dempsey stressed the last three knuckles. This video is ridiculous. L. This is a traditional martial…and a bunch of crap. This guy has no clue about how to throw a hook or uppercut. His boxing is obviously terrible. It’s actually funny.

This is the exact opposite of how a Jeet Kune do kick should be executed. There is no chambering in Jeet Kune Do. Sorry "master" but you need to go back to school....

All though created with positive intent and completely well intended, this footwork by all intent and purposes is wrong, I mean this in the most respectful way possible. F.e. the "fencing" footwork should be using the rear heal as a spring so that you can push of it, hence the name "push shuffle" The way the arms are raised are more likely to cause fatigue. Hence why later Bruce kept them closer to the body. Evading sideways should not be done in a prolonged circular motion that leaves the groin open when you can prioritise groin protection with the knee and shuffle sideways whilst changing the angle. There are some beautiful videos on this on Thomas Marx's IFO JKD page. I hope you are well my friend and wish you good health for training and growth for your audience! Kind regards, karim

Your kicks look great. There're people who advacate non- chambering to avoid telegraphing the kicks. Your view?

Thanks for your input. I agree on short distance low kicks. Aiming higher needs control in order to not swing through, risking to be attacked from the back when there are no rules. In all cases, speed and precision help avoiding to telegraph your intension
