Hi, As I've started learning Wing Chun Kung Fu, going on 3 months now from home, I can see techniques from WC. From 3:43 onwards, it seems that Sifu Frank is employing the "Pak Sao" block simultaneously with " kuen" ( punch) before that I believe Frank was employing "Biu Sao" or "Gan Sao?" To guard the lower body?

Here is where this is not Jeet Kune Do people. The at 4 minutes 45 seconds into the video, the back foot should never be flat on the ground as he is showing.

Hi Pasta. I started with Judo at the age of 10 which was in 1976. At 13 y. I got involved with traditional Kung Fu, later Wing Chun & Taekwondo. I've also trained with Karatekas, Thai Boxers, Boxers. All of that got emerged by following Bruce's advice of intercepting.

So you never officially learnt Jeet Kune Do under an official Jeet Kune Do certified instructor. People are asking you “where did you learn?’ He did not ask what you learnt by yourself. You have been involved is very different than saying “certificated” qualified to teach Jeet Kune Do under which instructor Frank? It is a simple question. Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do does not start from training in other martial arts style and fuse all your learning into your own style and term it Jeet Kune Do. You had never been in or near a JKD class. Online videos off google does not warrant a person to teach martial art. You should demand google to print your your qualification degree, as you are very good at googling martial styles in the hope, to teach entertainment online via this channel of yours. You have no idea what the Jeet Kune Do concept essence is. At all Professor Google expert. I am being FRANK here. Get the clever pun?

This is not trashing the work, he clearly had not answered a question. Which is, who did he qualified with to teach Jeet Kune Do? He clearly put a lot of work s video, but it is not Jeet Kune Do. That’s a fact. I have done JKD for over a decade, 15 years.

Jeet kune do is intercepting fist. Improving your attributes I’ve been studying martial arts 35 years from shaolin boxing karate kick boxing hsing I and baguaxhang and you know what I have no problems with anything this man is doing, if you look hard his power is on point. Jeet kune do is simply to simplify make it your own. Absorb what is useful How can you says someone’s concept is not jeet kune do when he embodies the principles of interception Bruce Lee never wanted carbon copies of himself.

Frank, stop waffling, you are mentioning of things every martial arts enthusiasts know already (intercepting fist, carbon copy blah blah blah). You are an individual who wants to and trying to piggyback off JKD concept and Bruce Lee’s reputation. I used to train under Mark McFann, Bob Bremer, and I still train with Guru Dan (Bruce Lee’ original student). I have been training since I was 3 years old, doing and studying martial arts for over 42 years. You studying for 35 years, hold any qualified certificates to teach JKD? If so, under who? Sumo,e question. You are not qualified in experience, or knowledge or to fool those who know the know, as oppose to think they know. Let me educate you with some names of certified JKD people who actually teach Jeet Kune Do, who are not carbon copies of Bruce Lee, but from the way they are, these people are beyond your self title “JKD teacher. These qualified JKD people are Marc McFann. T. Brackett, Yori Nakamura, La Vonne Martin, Michael Wong, etc etc etc. You are better off calling your channel “ self learnt martial art style fusion of Mickey Mouse, Star Wars moves and Kung Fu Panda”. Last sentence, just joking with you. End of conversation with you. Why? Because you will never be anything as long as you keep lying to yourself.

Learn to answer Juan’s question before you sidetrack the attention elsewhere. Useless you are, cannot even answer a simple question. Read his question again. My JKD is directly from Guru Dan.I am learning all the time. It’s a fact.
