All though created with positive intent and completely well intended, this footwork by all intent and purposes is wrong, I mean this in the most respectful way possible. F.e. the "fencing" footwork should be using the rear heal as a spring so that you can push of it, hence the name "push shuffle" The way the arms are raised are more likely to cause fatigue. Hence why later Bruce kept them closer to the body. Evading sideways should not be done in a prolonged circular motion that leaves the groin open when you can prioritise groin protection with the knee and shuffle sideways whilst changing the angle.
