Man I was looking at the mc101 and thinking about sampling synths to emulate them with the MC101. But now I am thinking that MV-1 is perfect! With zenology pro and cloud subscription I can have so many instruments for way less. Plus I won't have to record all my synths, bass, guitar, drum machines and vocals all on different devices. Only to have to dump my recording into the DAW just to mix and master it. Only if everything is perfect, otherwise have to record again. I could save so much time with the MV-1 VERSELAB. I am just trying to decide if there's anything else that would do better. Maybe MPC LIVE? But it's workflow sacres me.

If you're just after the sounds then the MV-1 is a GREAT device!

You seem like the kind of guy who might really love the late, legendary, Martyn Bennett, and especially his more electronic stuff. I'm a long-time fan of his, going back to before his cancer diagnosis. I'm a cancer patient too (3b lung cancer, and I'm post chemo/rad/immuno. Cool track forming here, man. 👍

That was great! You should make that into a track on your next album.

Very cool. Reminiscent of John Carpenter’s chords in Escape From New York

It's an interesting product. They focused more on DAWless songwriting features (eg vocal track, mixer + mixdown) than live performance, which is why it's not part of the AIRA range.

The MC-101 is part of the Aira range but, even Is a great synth box, it’s sequencer is not very usable in live performances unless you get everything programmed in advance and just launch clips and tweak them using the knobs or scatter mode. That’s why a lot of people uses the MC-101 as a sound module (where really excels), sequenced from a Elektron box, a Circuit Tracks or even a computer.

Sounds great, only i can't help but think what this might have with an nts-1 or some extra guitar pedals of your choice - I've been watching too many 90s hardware videos recently it seems. Seriously though, you did a smooth jam ✌️

Nice! When being acustomed to the workflow, the potential of that device obviously is surfacing. I mean, there are not many groove boxes out there with hundreds of synths etc under your fingertips. Definitely nice for jamming

Surely, you have got to develop that into a full song. Great tune so far.

Free Beat, the human metronome lol. That jam was really nice!
