Most Thai women I've seen are pretty crazy about Korean men. It is possible that they might think that Korean men usually check those 10 boxes most of the time?

Good point! I think the reason is Korean culture definitely has a big influence in Thailand. That's why they wanna date them and wanna experience like those movies.

Quick comment Palm - I completely agree with the 5 precepts of Buddhism - But most Thai women ( and most men ) I've met want all these qualities in men but cannot reciprocate these qualities themselves - when I lived there we called them 7/11 Buddhists because they visit the temple and behave in a particular way and as soon as they leave they become different people, this is quite sad in my opinion. But thanks for your hard work and videos Palm - have a great day.

It’s always nice to be respectful and listen to you, Palm. I predict that if I am ever in a monogamous relationship with a Thai woman that we will end up speaking Thai most of the time since I love languages. This was my experiences with both of my Japanese exes.

So a man must have money, but a Thai woman does not? Thai women do not like lying, but I have met quite a few that lie. There seems to be some dual standards in this video discussion…

So, generally-speaking, it's best to assume that the true meaning of what a Thai woman says is likely the opposite of what she has said? But what if she actually MEANS what she says, at times? This creates an impossible situation, it would seem. It's quite confusing for me.
@jlvandat69

Excellent content. Something I have noticed in conversations with Thailand ladies is quite interesting, and I'd appreciate feedback. In nearly all cases, there's a 'discontinuity' in their communication exchanges with me. This is difficult to articulate, and a generalization, but it seems like they don't really recall much of what has been discussed previously, nor do they discuss future matters in much detail. Said differently, it's like they "live only in the moment" without consideration/incorporation of previous conversations, making it difficult to build relationships of substance. Also, I have noticed that if I am in the company of 2 or more Thai ladies, they will spend most the time conversing with each other and rarely try to have conversations with me. It's sort of odd......as though they are their own world with no interest in what's outside. Again, this is based on limited experience and is a generalization, but I'd appreciate your thoughts.

I have been thinking seriously about this since the video went live. I did a lot of research before selecting Thailand as my preferred retirement destination. Pros: After the 1st 3 they are in no particular order. 1 Cost of living: From food, to rent, to medical care my money will easily go at least 5 times further than remaining in America. 2 Medical care: Hands down the medical care among retirement options. Treatment t least as good as we can get here in the States plus options not even offered to us. 3 Infrastructure: Whether it is public transportation, mobile/data plans, or wifi once again top notch and super cheap. 4 Dating: I am done with Western Women. I am too old, too heavy and too unwilling to spend money hand over fist on her while they bring very little into the relationship 5 Weather: No blizzards or freezing my nuts off. 6 Sabai Sabai: If you know you know. 7 Food: Sure I am a neung prik kinda spice guy but there is so much more than blow off your head spice. Radna has become my favorite noodle dish of any cuisine. 8 Very low crime - especially violent crime. Cons: Once again after the first 3 no particular order 1 Scams: The most popular crime. Be it long cons from bar girls to taxi change scams to market vendor scams they do happen but most are avoidable if you pay attention. 2 Language: More of an issue outside the cities and the older crowd. Also keep in mind many will pretend to not understand if it can be advantageous to do so. 3 Gossip: While most Thai's are polite and smile many will gossip behind your back. Many farangs never know it goes on or just don't care. Your girl will know and will not be happy so try to minimize anything they can gossip about to make your girl's life easier. 4 Weather: It gets hot AF 5 Other foreigners: Jackhats and sexpats give the respectful farang trying to assimilate a bad name. Many foreigners avoid Pattaya or Phuket because they don't want to be associated with the whole sexpat scene. 6 Taxes*: This is a maybe because there is just rumors at this point. Ince actual laws are promulgated we will see if there are any real changes to the tax system as it is now.

Thailand was a great place to visit. Lately it is becoming a slum full of high rise shoe box size living spaces at high prices considering the average yearly wage . Many foreign nationals are in thailand working illegally also it seems. Sidewalks remain broken if in place and fllod rains still close many streets. Women once slim and cute brown are now pale pasty white or having it done with makeup and surgery,while fatty and bold in appearance. I wanted to live here years ago when a visit was pure pleasure in all areas. Now it is minimal pleasure barely tolerable. I enjoy my forst two weeks since arriving from the USA but by the second month bored and agitated by crowds of non Thai such as Indian males who do petty crime or out looking for trouble just to pass the time. I would like to live here but the crowded roads and parking lot traffic much worse than most cities in the USA. Prices to rent are good right now and good food easy to find are the main assets. Most others are better elsewhere. All thailand has which is cheaper than the USA is rent and food. Easy women in USA are less than in thailand and as well there is a whole lot more to do day to day

Hello Palm. Thank you for sharing your videos. My wife and I enjoy them a lot. I do have a question for you. Can you explain the uniform system in Thailand. Sometimes it is confusing as to who are police, security guard, etc. For example, I've seen a man on motorcycle wearing tan/khahi uniform with flashing light...assuming he is a police officer. However, when I go to immigration they are wearing similar uniform. There are so many and it would be nice to know how to find a police officer when needed and not be talking to a doorman or something. 😅😂😅 Thank you again for your videos! 🙏

Thank you for your support! I’m glad you and your wife enjoy the videos! It's hard for me sometimes too. 😅 If you're unsure, you can always approach someone who looks official and ask if they are a police officer. Most will be helpful. Knowing these distinctions can definitely make it easier to find the right person when you need assistance! 👍

I love your show! You correctly said that every culture has good and bad people. I moved to Thailand 3 years ago from US. I am retired and receive social security payments every month. Najomtien is my paradise with a condo facing towards the occasion for only 220.00 dollars a month, including water and power. I prefer to cook and eat at home. It is cheap, safe and healthy. In Thailand, I don't have go out to see beaches and mountains etc. I grew up in California, a nature paradise with deserts, mountains, valleys, rivers, ocean and clean fresh air most of the year. While raising my 5 kids, I visited nature every week for camping, fishing, boating and long hiking trips. After retirement, I could not live in US. My social security was not enough to pay my rent and bills alone. After divorce, I lived in the US for 2 years, without the company of a female and I thought I was going to die of a stroke or heart attack. I am 71 now. I rarely spend more than 1500.00 US dollars a month because I don't drink and I smoke occasionally. I used to have numerous female friends who took turns to entertain me on contractual basis, for about 500.00 dollars a month. I cut down to two now and I am as happy as one could be. I don't have friends and I don't think I need any. Best wishes!

My wife and I moved to Hua Hin from the U.S. 3 years ago. After being together 16 years we were blessed with a new daughter. Now we still maintain several residences in the U.S. where we stay when we go back each year to visit family and our new daughter is both a Thai and U.S. citizen as is my wife. But we decided to stay in Thailand permanently and raise her here as opposed to the U.S. Just a better place and culture to raise a child. Thailand has its problems as do all places, but the pros outweigh the cons for us as new parents raising a child. Hua Hin specifically is a fantastic place for families as well.

No, it is not a PARADISE! It is a fun place if you do not take into account the insane traffic and dangerously high air pollution all over the country. I like the people, but do not like all the new regulations fees and "traps" on line to get there. It is getting annoying and many people will soon start to find new "Paradises". Be warned Thailand. Your days as a number 1. spot in SE Asia might be over before you know it. I guess there are many older men that is looking for easy love and they might find their "Paradise" there! LOL! I think Thailand is a great country but I think there has been an anti foreigner attitude recently and many tourists now are headed to Vietnam or Malaysia, some places even during high season are now dead with many business struggeling. Khao San road is probably gonna loose a lot of business since Thai government don't want backpackers to travel to thailand anymore since they only want the super rich to come.

I remember first knight I had to stay at my girlfriends house, she had prepared toothbrush with toothpaste for me. I told it was not necessary. After that we have shared the work in the house 😂. Only she never taste my food. Temperature can both be a pro and cons. Sometimes it is so hot, that you do not have much outdore activities. If I stayed in Thailand all year and not only about 6 month, I would miss the long summer nights i northern Europe with sunrise at 4.00 and sunset at 23.00. I Bangkok the sun rise and set more or less at the same time all year. Again you give something to think about, thanks.

Hi Palm ! always glad to see you. When you talk about the traffic in Bangkok to foreigners, mention your wonderful skytrain. Thats all I use. For the men coming here most of the lady's do not speak a lot of English. But, know words. i have a lot of fun using hand signals and finding out what words she does know and use those words. To me it is a lot of fun to start your own language together. Remember I only need 3 sentences in Thai culture. " never mind" " up to you" " same-same".
