I got rid of years of mental anxiety and trauma from fascia release. My thoughts and personality literally changed over the years of doing the fascia release. You can’t tell me. I experienced it.

Sounds good to me. Where there is little mobility you should add some, and then the (over)load on the other parts reduces. Balance is back 👌

Can it last for years? I have chronic flank pain which I think is related to a 20mm kidney stone I have been waiting to have removed... There feels like a "tube" of muscle (external oblique?) that is in constant spasm, but it's been like this for about three years now 😢

Trampoline does not re-create poor gait mechanics, however for obvious reasons there is a good amount of ting impact involved. We recommend consulting your healthcare provider if you are dealing with any chronic pain conditions

Her methods fixed 15 years of my chronic pain in a very short time. Unbelievable how I was just walking around in pain all the time, and I am dancer. I am in shape and very aware of my body, however little did I know how much I had to learn! Thank you for five years 98 percent pain free!

It definitely can be stored in fascia. Physical and non physical is completed meshed you cannot seperate it.

Tension in the body parts can relate to excessive childhood trauma which was hidden in the Unconscious mind for the benefit of the child who was too young to take abuse, of any sort, also separation from mother, etc. So it makes sense to me as a retired qualified Psychotherapist, and Yoga Instructor, and Science of the Mind - Metaphysically Trained Therapist that releasing muscles, loosening stiff joints, moving the body parts and bringing the body back to a state of mobility, that wasn’t mobile that the Fascia is involved 1OO%. T However not the cause of any emotional inflictions, be it Womb, Birth Trauma, or any form of Trauma throughout a humans life that isn’t dealt with, at the time, causing many health issues, be it Physical, Mental, or Emotional. I would like to state here that emotional clearing can come about by doing inner body work, as well, outer body work, and now more than ever, a necessity. Why? Because our World is under great changes, and we need to be vigilant treating our body’s with the respect it deserves!

Most people hold a ton of tension in their face and neck if they try to, just hold their breath without blocking the nose

Love this post Dana. You are dealing with the reality of how the body functions and how your patients can decrease their structural strain and help their bodies more able to function ... in all aspects. Removing structural strain, allowing the body to move without pain or limitations, is what you excel at. Kudos to you.

From my study there are no wrong exercises, just wrong practice. If you practice conscious, no pain! then you cannot hurt yourself. I believe we should make all body strong, be able to move from any angle not be fearful. Look at break dancers, acrobatics , gymnastics. Strong in all muscles. From your video, all people who do Vups should have broken spine which they do not! they would not be able to post videos on youtube doing the V-up perfectly.

I have had nerve pain in my posterior shoulder area for over 30 years. I was waiting to see an orthopedic but in the interim I brought myself to ER. DOCTORS told me I need not see an orthopedic, that I had shingles. I do have forward posture. I have had chronic pain since my 30s. I am 64 years old and have no quality of life. Everyday I try to live life like a normal individual to no avail. I was on opioids which eventually didn't do a thing. I was on fentanyl for a period which gave me quality of life (pain free existence) and followed treatment plan strictly. I was not abusing, just wanting quality of life without pain. My doctor stopped prescribing for no reason at all and I've been in constant pain now for over 5 years. I'm at my wits end these days. I don't socialize at all and barely make it to work each day. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and interest in this regard. Diane

Why is it that when I lift legs to abdomen, my abdomen burns the next day? I do feel it in my abs, if it's not connected then why are dead Bug exercises for example, effective?

I have found that a technique that helps elocution is humming and was instructed as "ho-hummmmm" .. to this day I find the "ho" part of it gets the hum going when there is a fair bit of tension or anxiety :) U have a great sense of humour!

I think it's important to treat a problem holistically, taking everything into consideration. Afterall the world is made of matter and energy. If we are matter and energy and our thoughts are a form of energy, how it is released i think is the key. and then there can be a multitude of ways. Too many times people want just one answer, one solution, one exercise. Like the example of childhood trauma, how's your diet? how's your physical (exercise), how's your mental? how's your social life? what do you do about your thought? how about how you feel/emotions? what's your sense of self/purpose/inner being? what's your sense to a higher power/spirituality? As a person, you should be the driver of your life and learn how to take all aspects of your life into consideration when treating a problem, not the doctor or therapist. they only have the tools, you have all of the information/data.

Hi, a question : what do you think about rowing on a rowing machine. I try to focus on a proper form, but anyways, I always have lower back pain after rowing...does it put shear force on the vertebrae as well ? And what about hanging knee raises ? Thank you

Rowing involves a heck of a lot of spine and hip joint flexion we recommend switching to a peloton for instance

I don’t have many years with peripheral neuropathy but in 4 years I am walking through hell right now because it started on my feet and now my whole body is being affected. I can’t not move or walk because the pain is excruciating and tightness in my body is so deep that I have developed another health issues and condition not knowing that the mass alignment of my fascia has create the problem I have all the conditions from head to toe. I know the importance of the posture but never found anyone wh can help me to achieve that goal I’ve been doing myself but m situation s been changing with an infusion that get me so sick that since tat day I have been unable to go outside my house because I could the any symptoms at any hour so my body is trap and me as a person is also trap
