Oh man…if they can reduce the complexity and play time of GWT, I’m all for that. I have GWT 2d, enjoy it but doesn’t get played because I don’t like teaching it.

Right? I'm so excited to see how they pull it off-there's only one picture of the components on BGG but the board is so adorably tiny! 😅 I can't wait to find out more about the game! (I love playing GWT but I also do not particularly enjoy teaching it! I remember teaching it at a convention last year and it's a doozy for sure!) 😣

Great list! I'm also hyped for GWT El Paso, Minos, Skara Brae, and Black Forest. I'll have to check out Middle Ages too. Other most-anticipated games for me... Ones I backed: Tabriz, Cyclades Legendary Edition, Rebirth, Illiad & Ichor, Everdell Duo, Railroad Tiles, ORBIT Others: Big Sur, Galactic Cruise, does SETI count since I think it's not quite to retail in US? I've also seen several announcements for duel games. Azul Duel... another from a popular franchise I can't remember.

Hey, Dale! So many great games to look forward to! And I'm not surprised that we have a lot of overlap! Maybe we'll find out more about some of those newer/not-yet-released games at PAX this year? ☺️ And you've given me a lot of new titles that I haven't even heard of-I'll have to check out all the ones on your list! (Dude, Galactic Cruise is AMAZING. You're going to love it!) 🚀 And I forgot about Azul Duel... that seems interesting although (like everyone's been saying) Azul already plays so well at two players! In fact, Hannah and I are about to play Azul: Summer Pavilion right now! (She's been on a winning streak lately!)

Snap! I've yet to play Azul.....i want to try it but it just doesnt really interest me for some reason. I hear people prefer the summer pavilion version! Trickerion looks like a beast of a game to learn and get on the table lol

Oh, you've got to give at least one of the Azuls a try! (The original one is on BGA if you ever want to play sometime!) Summer Pavilion is a lot of fun for sure-very combo-tastic! 😅 And Trickerion truly is a beast in pretty much every sense of the word but it's an amazing game! این یک سوال عالی است! این یک نوع انفرادی است که توسط شرکتی به نام "Mautoma" ساخته شده است، بنابراین از نظر فنی بازی در اصل برای اجرای انفرادی طراحی نشده است. امیدوارم که کمک کند!

I'm still growing my collection and can't think of getting rid of any of them! I guess when you have over 100, it gets easier and necessary :(. I played Trickerion one time and loved it. Amazing that you're giving it away. I'd give it a good home and get it played.

I had to chuckle with you wiping all that caf hair off of you! It is the current reason I am taking a break from a pet. Moved into a new home a few years ago... Enjoying the lack of pet hair everywhere... I do miss having a dog though! I played Trickerion a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Picked up Cat Lady and the expansion the other day... Need to get it to the table.

Queen's Garden has replaced Stained Glass as my favorite Azul. I like that it's a little crunchier than the others. I just taught it to my youngest son this weekend. Summer Pavilion is the odd outlier to me, because there's very little pressure: you can hold as many tiles as you want and hold over 4 between rounds. I like the storage limitation of QG that forces you to alternate between taking and placing tiles. SP it seems the only strategy is in whether you're trying to complete colors or numbers. Also did you see they're doing a new edition of Ethnos?

Wow, really! It's certainly crunchier than the other Azuls for sure! And interesting observation about the lack of pressure in Summer Pavilion...maybe that's why Hannah likes that one so much! ☺️ I actually saw that right after I filmed this video! I meant to include something about that in the video when I was editing-another reason I feel okay about culling Archeos Society! (But now I can't find anything about the new Ethnos... where did you see that? On Facebook?)

Once i tried Terra Mystica and Gaia Project, I sold Clans of Caledonia. CoC is very simple in comparison and not really as interactive or tense as the Terra Mystica series. Terra Mystica and its offshoots replaced a lot of games for me. They are evergreen, desert island games.

I can't imagine selling Clans of Caledonia, mostly because I love the theme and the commodity speculation! (Plus there's an expansion either out now or coming soon that I'm excited about!)
