I think people are forgetting that this is a Rockstar game. I mean seriously do y’all really think we’ll get a completely empty map, especially with red dead 2 being so jam packed with random encounters and mysteries to find. GTA would be way better with a big map than a small map and WILL be filled with things.

Not huge.. But it should be atleast twice the size of gta5 with more activities. They can easily do it.. Reasons: Gta-5 was developed for ps3 Budget was 250 million $ Only rockstar north was working Now We have ps5 we will have pro at the end 2024 Budget is 1billion-2billion Whole rockstar team is working globally with almost 5k employees. Correct me if Im wrong. I use ModMenu too... but for protection against other modders to play Public Sessions with ease. Some modders are really toxic, they tried to kick you from session using modmenu, griefing, spam skill, teleport you to other place, set bounty on your head, force start mission on your game and more.

One of the things that made GTA V's map a bit disappointing is the number of mountains. If you look at the map in 2D, it looks massive, but in truth, most of it is not driveable. East of Chumash, up to Fort Zancudo. You basically only have the Great Ocean Freeway. East of Los Santos, another area full of mountains. Until you reach the wind farm, you have two highways, but you'll likely take the one that passes the casino, because why bother going the long way around if there's nothing there except steep mountains?

The more they cheat the more rockstar keeps forgetting......to just end the GTA PC modding.....by closing the servers.... you can cheat all you want in story mode....cus it's story mode.... nobody plays the damn thing

I've had a bit of a theory, that once the game becomes popular they will capitalize on it like how Cayo was quite popular when it came out and make different smaller maps or even medium size maps hell maybe even put in a few of the older maps in so its something new for players who are done with the main story maybe have it so that Both main characters have reasons to go to these places or have it so that you play as different characters instead on these maps like how they did it with GTA4's Gay tony and the biker DLC

You don’t need a big map although it can make a game feel less boring in the long term, look at the crew 2 and motorfest. The crew 2 had a huge map which people never got bored of for the entirety of its lifespan, the crew motorfest hasn’t been out for a year and people are already bored of it, not entirely because of the map but it’s a big reason.

Old version was much better as it spawned randomly around the map and not in specific places after a specific ammount of time. To not mention that earnings were random and not fixed at 25k. Yeah, you earn more with the newest one but the bad thing about the newer version is that you can see the armoured truck only if you are next to it while the older version was visible from any part of the map.

GTA 5's map after all this time fells extremely small. I stopped playing GTA 5 for around 2-3 years and when I started again I thought the city was way larger than it actually is and was kinda disappointed in it's small size. Rest of the map ain't better. It's not a bad map by any means but you can clearly see it's age. GTA 6 definitely needs a large map that doesn't start to feel small after a couple of years simply because I'm assuming that GTA 6 will be around for atleast another 10 years after it's release as the most recently released GTA and thus yes it needs a huge map.
