Nice job however you didnt share at what point you add the fragrance or essential oil and what about the amount? I dont see the original King Rooster responding sadly so maybe someone else can answer. Specific times are essential! I have yet to master this part of the soap making.

My chickens love when I sing to them. They can be devouring treats and if I start to sing to them they all come running. They sit quietly and listen. Then when I stop singing. They stay there for a minute to see if I am going to go on. If I don’t they start to chatter and go back to eating treats. My friends think I am nuts because I decorate their run for Christmas, they have witch costumes and chicken pants and easter bonnets, chicken harnesses and leashes and a chicken stroller. I am not nuts, I just love my chickens.

Great advice. We have some rgar love a fuss others not so much . unfortunately many of our cuddly ones have passed which has been heartbreaking. But we still have at least half the flock that like some sort of cuddles. Will now try to work on a few of the others ,thanks because im an animal cuddles lol

In summer my chickens will spend 8-10 AM resting. I’ll occasionally go out there during that window and crouch down. They’ll come, pull on the folds of my pants, and then sit down at my feet and sleep. It’s definitely worth not making enemies out of chickens.

I have hybrids ,they are really supper cuddly ,one I found wandering the road near me and nobody claimed her ,she is very cuddly ,the companion I got for her is really cuddly too ,neither of them I have had from chicks ,both will doze of on your lap when being petted.
