Lovely calm video. Congrats on the new infant. Few things i do different. I only wash whites with other whites - i find they remain white longer. Ive always done this even with twins. The dishwasher - i always leave the door open for a short while after emptying it - this airs it out and prevents odours. I always use pillow protectors too.. keeps the pillows cleaner and fresher. I will watch the rest after work. So far, i pleasant video with good tips.

I’ve been journaling about how I was happier in some ways when I had just started out. There was less clutter and less to clean, more space. But I have a lot of hobbies so I struggle with where to put my tools for these hobbies. Thank you for this motivating video!

Congratulations on your new baby! 🎉 Thank you for taking the time to share your reflections on the ups and downs of homemaking. As a mother of a 14-month old, I feel encouraged to lean into my homemaking in this season and learn the lessons that God is teaching me through it all. Last but not least, well done keeping up with both your home and KZbin content during such a busy time in your life. Although you may not receive daily acknowledgement from man, the good Lord will surely reward your efforts according to His riches and glory 🙏🏽❤️

Congratulations on your newest addition the family ❤ !! What a blessing! Thank you for sharing this. Overwhelm in homemaking can be so real and hit so hard when it comes, totally think it's not helped by the tendency to have such a high expectation as a homemaker! & it is not at all what the family members even expect from us. Thank you for the reminder of why we choose to serve our families in a role that is so undervalued and overlooked by society today, especially in the UK. As wives, mothers and homemakers we have the ability to impact future generations for God's kingdom and it's just so easily forgotten when doing just another set of dishes or nappies upon nappies!! Prayer is my go to in the hard moments for sure, and recently for a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. Not the easiest thing to cultivate when feeling overwhelmed and yet so key if we are the temperature gage of our homes in setting the tone for all who live there! Love that verse about the oxen, such a reminder to be grateful about the harvest in our homes. Amidst the messes, to see the beauty and joy the little feet around us bring. ❤❤

I got rid of the TV when I moved home. It was the best thing ever. I don't have children, it'd just me i do watch KZbin, hence finding your video, but what I watch is my choice not the mindless nonsense that's put on by the tv channels. All the best.

I do pretty much the same thing as the buckets :) I allocate an annual budget to each category though. There are some annual expenses that are usually in the spring and are well above the monthly average multiplied by the past months (like taxes, car insurance, etc.). It's the same for the grocery bucket because I buy in bulk (for 3-6 months) some shelf-stable items (flour, coffee, etc.). That way, I don't worry too much if I have to spend more in a certain month but of course I keep track of all.

Thanks for sharing, it all resonates so much. Congratulations on your little blessing. I had baby 5 last week. I'd love to hear how you focus on infusing with love and intention and a welcoming feeling while it isnt always perfectly tidy or when their is laundry around and dishes. One can get so caught up with that type of upkeep that the cheerful feeling is lost, but at the same time it's hard to be peaceful and for the home to be a relaxing environment if things aren't together. I'd love to hear any thoughts/ advice on this. G-d bless your lovely family.

My husband's favorite desert is 7 layer bars. They are very easy to make, as you just layer everything in the pan then bake for 30 minutes in the oven.

hrey girl! congrats on the new bundle of joy! I found this fun hack for cutting nuts. you can flatten the bunch you put down with a plate and then cut the by pressing the plate down to secure them in place and cut with your knife under the plate if that make sense!! lol if that makes sense! maybe a google or ty video would better explain. much love. LOVE your content. would love a q and a type video soon :) and also! I haven't mentioned this to you but my partner is from England lol so I love your meals that I can re create and make him feel like home. I made sausage rolls a few weeks ago but usa anything is trash quality to other countries /: so they were okay, but nothing like your local corner stores unfourtnantly! but yes just wanted to add I love your dinners etc. by the way, youre doing amazing <3
