This is so timely! The Lord has been working on my heart concerning motherhood being hard. We have an almost 11 month old and I’m pregnant again with our second. I found myself hating this journey because of how hard it it is and how alone I feel a lot of time in terms of support etc but He has helped me to see the beauty in it and slow down. Great tips 😊!

Congratulations!!!! It is hard and it can feel lonely you’re so right, but the Lord works through our difficult seasons for His glory. You are doing well, keep surrendering those challenging times to Him. We’ll look back one day and see the Lords hand in it all!! So glad you’re in this community xx

I got rid of the TV when I moved home. It was the best thing ever. I don't have children, it'd just me i do watch KZbin, hence finding your video, but what I watch is my choice not the mindless nonsense that's put on by the tv channels. All the best.

I love you and I’m a first time mom FULL time with OVERTIME stay at home mom if that’s even possible lol 😂 Completely agree that becoming a mom is a blessing. It IS exhausting and it is a never ending thing so far. There are moments when I feel spread thin and a tear up remembering when I had much more time for ME. But there it is.. I realized recently that becoming a mom forces you to go beyond yourself and do something for another little person. But when you understand that the little person is in part.. YOU.. your perspective changes. So even though we no longer have a lot of time for ourselves.. we’re investing time in a part of us that gets to go on. It’s a beautiful thing. That little baby is half mom and half dad and as a whole a beautiful creation of the Lord. It is our responsibility to raise our children and guide them right. Protect and nurture them. They are our future and hopefully a better generation.

Absolutely I completely agree, children are such a blessing. It is definitely exhausting and never ending but absolutely worth pursuing!

I think it's sooo interesting you talked about having a multigenerational perspective on why you live your life - this was actually what drove me to have children when I was previously adamant I wanted to stay childfree forever. But decentering your own ego (something which faith in God encourages us to do) and thinking about the future lives you can influence is very powerful and very important.

That’s such an interesting story!! Decentralised faith is always the goal :D glad you enjoyed it!

I’m so glad i found your channel, it’s exactly what i needed to hear! I’m currently on maternity and all i want is to be a SAHM but i’m finding it difficult atm. I really resonated with your point about being overwhelmed and asking god to enlarge your heart, I definitely need to do this more. I’m just starting my journey with God and recently started reading the Bible when I get a moment (when i’m not chasing my 9 month old around the house😂) I hope i can find a community of likeminded mums!

So many good points. My feeling though is that we need to transform the isolation of the nuclear family. There was a guy who wrote a book studying family structures across civilisation - the nuclear family meant that the culture was on the way out. (Civilisation crash.) We need to have more of a village with extended family and other mothers around to support. Aunts and grandparents to support with meals. Multigenerational approach. What’s been normalised is really unnatural. ❤️

Love this title. I just want to go from tired to good 😹 I think I'm getting there! have a 15mo and 7mo pregnant. Hoping in like..9 months I can be triving? But, good is good too! I definitely agree, woth an intentional mindset, when I can be present in the moment, and remember rocking my child at 1am is a gift, I definitely feel better.

Well done!!!! That’s a tough season but I hope you’re encouraged!! I love hearing about you rocking your child at 1am…that doesn’t always feel like a gift but it absolutely is 🎁 thanks so much for being here xxx

So your video came up on my recommended, 5 mins in i was like 'i wonder if shes a christian talking about this' and then the second you started talking about the bible i was like 'YES SIS!!' 😍😍 eeeek. always a joy to come across new christian mumas talking about these incredible subjects. Thanks for sharing love, this was genuinely so lovely to watch and really encouraging to. I'm pregnant with my second (miscarriage the first time) and now that I'm in the second trimester I am just so loving learning more about biblical motherhood - these are great tips! I look forward to watching more of your videos!

Hey love yes it definitely does help not snacking. My kids do have snacks but I try to keep it as limited as possible as long as they’ve had three big meals! :)

Hey! Ok so I feel like we should totally be friends 😂 I'm a Christian wife & mama to 2 under 2, living in Northern Ireland and have been probably been tuning into a lot of the same American content as you for the last wee while myself from the sounds of it! I look forward to the most recent uploads when its naptime with a hot cuppa coffee! Speaking of, big fan of coffee, slow living with littles at home and dresses!! Have recently started having a go at bread making. I love being at home and caring for my family, helping my husband & loving my children. And in such a career driven, individualistic hustle kinda culture I am feeling like a weirdo to be like, I actually want to not miss a minute with my precious daughters. It is so, so encouraging to see someone else in the UK living out such a similar approach to their faith as me so thank you! Really encouraged by this particular one cause honestly so much of it just resonates with me. My husband also watched it with me, and even he was like, oh so we aren't the only ones!!!Looking forward to your future videos! God bless you and your family ❤

What would you like to know? I try to simply eat three meals a day without snacking, as much as possible! Although I’m not very good at it. But I always feel better when I do 🥰
