@eigrontopediax it is to orientate the gates to the correct position. The paperclip finds the gates and aligns them, but they aren't in the position for the locking mechanism. 👍

​@Pik_lok if you get a chance, look at Lock Picking Lawyer no 136 video. He picks and guts the same Master 930 eight years ago and it was a 9 out of 9 max pick resistance then. His version he was able to gut completely and all key/Driver pins are standards. You must have been telling the truth! 😏

It depends on the lock in question, but if it's not working, I'd recommend switching to something else like maybe SPP, or another rake, (double/triple peak). There's a chance that the L rake just won't be able to set the pins no matter how hard you try because of the bitting on the lock. Good luck with it though. 👍

Yeah I'm starting to learn locks with security pins. Picked a few but not an expert. I tend to use the rake to a false set then finish off with hook.

Straightforward and very easyily opened. Nice job mate. There's one of those identical locks on a garage my mate keeps all his sound system/rig equipment. I have showed him how easy it is to defeat. He said something along the lines of, "yeah, but how many people have those tools?". He's got a point I suppose, and he has 3 other locks on the same door, (puck lock, dimple padlock and a 6 lever Union, "Battleship" padlock). I think his rig/sound system is pretty much safe from non-destructive entry. It's definitely all pickable, but would make so much noise, different picking skills and tools. Cheers mate. @weatherman68 Thanks for that, I appreciate the compliment and the story. I think your mate is probably right, burglars don't really pick locks. They normally prefer much more brazen approaches. They tend to use things like bolt cutters, angle grinders, and tele-handlers. With all those locks, i can't really see someone standing there with his bag of lock picks, going through them all. 🍻👍

I use a dark background, light up the foreground loads, then turn the ISO down on the camera. You can the use editing software to finish it off 👍

Balls are better! There's a little motor that pulls the locking pawl back. It would need a more powerful motor if it was to turn a core and release some balls.
