I bet it would be easy as pie to rake too. So no, I wouldn't even secure my cookie jar with it. Nice open.

I tried raking it, but it didn't work. I think it was too rusted up inside. I bet a new one would open right up though.

Nicely done! Made quick work of it! Well, at least it's shiny lol

Yeah, it looks good. There's a plate on the side too, was wondering if it would be easy to remove, and give access to the pin chambers

@@Pik_lok Interesting! They might have cheaped out and given easy access!

What would you recommend as a good padlock, please? (In Britain) Also, how easy is it to open the push-button code doorlocks? Could you do a video on them, please?
@Pik_lok6 ай бұрын
@@sarahvegangarden4822 it depends on the value of what you're securing. I'd certainly consider an abus granite, but the security does come at a price. Do you mean the ones that have the numbers 0 - 9 and also X, Y, Z and C?
@Pik_lok6 ай бұрын
I have actually just found an Abloy 340 padlock, which is a very good lock for £28, let me know if you're interested, although I don't think it'll be for sale very long.

@@Pik_lok Thanks! Yes, those ones with 1 to 9 and X, Y, Z, plus C for cancel. Are they easy to open? I've heard that when they've been used for a while, you can hear the difference in clicks between the buttons used frequently and those not used. Is that right? It would be interesting to have a video on them. Cheers!

@@sarahvegangarden4822 I had one a few years ago, but never managed to decode it,and at the time there was nothing on the internet showing any methods. The buttons all felt exactly the same whether in the code or not, even with varying levels of tension from turning the handle.
