Clive Cussler is een meester in het verhalen vertellen. Ik ben gegrepen van het begin tot het einde, zelfs al worden de boeken op het laatste enigszins voorspelbaar. En Michael Pritchard brengt de verhalen helemaal tot leven. Genieten...

I liked all of the "Francis" books but don't enjoy the American accents done by British narrator. Had to stop after 20 minutes.
The ending is ridiculous bordering on stupid even for Cussler, the helicopter fly's into a parachute holding a 16 inch shell with a deadly plague that must be the world's strongest windscreen and how it didn't get caught up in the rotor blades 😆😆😆😆 I've come to realise it's a fantasy comedy story.

Sorry but rubbish “broad Lancashire accent” 😂. People say Marina is a shrew and an unsympathetic character. I think that’s because of the narrator. A wife who’s been shot at, attacked (in other books) and has a child to protect to say nothing of her anxiousness for her husband should have been “read” in a completely different tone of voice.

Great story. Wonderful narrator, my favorite. But, oh my lord! Trust me, the expression "eh?" is NOT used by many Canadians. It is commonly only used as a joke; it sprung from a comedy Canadian TV program. I am Canadian.
