Please never stop training this art. It has saved me in so many tight situations in the streets. It is not meant as a sparring art, so many say it does not work. But it truly does work in the streets.❤

This is the pre requisite before going any further. One of the differences of CST compared to so many other lineages. Even though everyone in the world today learned from someone whom learned from someone whom learned from one man in the 50's there's so many interpretations and not many have this focus. CST is the leader in this it seems. With the hip rotation, the spine elongation, the relaxation and aim to a focus point all making up the Nim Lik state. The Wing chun shapes work. The straight line, simultaneous attack/defence, moving with and attacking the centre of mass. The tactics work. But without the stance aspects they are just shapes. Good shapes but just shapes. This is what ties it all together. I wonder how Ip taught for their to have had so many different interpretations arise. Chinese Whispers so to speak. I think that there's been a fair bit of ego involved too. I mean. The first ever exposure I got to WC was William Cheung Self proclaimed Grandmaster. It wasn't for a while that I realized how full of shit he was. Damaged WC's rep in fact. Speaking of which. The health aspects that come from the stance practice have been things I've passed on to my family members and others who don't even fight. I've also passed it onto athletes as well to help them move more freely. Everything works better with the stance and Nim Lik. Thank you and your demonstration was well described. I stand for 2 hours a day every day. Only 1 month until Frederick comes. He'll see who's earned it and who hasn't been practicing 🙂

I was lucky enough to feel Nima doing something similar on me a few months ago, so those skills are very real and stunning. For me it‘s one of the best motivations to keep a disciplined practice - to be able to do something like that in the future 🤙

I was always very skeptical, but doing Wing Chun from other lineage in my city I could see how minimal changes in the body could yield very different results. After several years of practice of the right movements and the right state of the body, I'm now certain it's possible to produce videos that look like bs but are actually real.

The practice of cultivating the internal world, a Shaolin tradition, from where our style originates, and several other martial arts, has been lost in the modern world, focused primarily on quick and punctual solutions, and commerce. I see that GM CST, Nima and a few masters seek to rescue this tradition, and end up being seen as scammers. Own experience, this is real, go and see for yourself.

Thanks for offering a nice peek into your Program for free 🌸! Helps a lot, so when people ask where I learned this I can give them this link for free trial🙏. I had some exchanges with other stiles and all of them went really nice. They actually ask for a insight like that, so thx. I've searched for around two decades for a decent teacher. For all of you feeling the same, that they miss out on something, try this here. Best experience of my life after marriage 😜. It was also hard for me in the beginning to think that all of that could be true. But Nima is very open about it, so he lets you test his state and everything when you're for example at one of his seminars, or visit him in Hongkong.

Just watch his footwork! It's different in the two examples in the first he steps off balanced at just right at the point of contact and the second he hits the contact point w momentum going forward , but that being said the shit works if you correctly administer the style ! Good shit man

@user-br5nu8gi1s yes, remarkable age. Now he is in a wheelchair with Parkinsons, but I remember seeing Ip Chun walking around all the time and catching the train when he was in his early 90s. And he's been a pipe smoker for many decades too. So very healthy until his old age

There is often talk in martial arts circles about styles that harness the so-called internal force, with a clear distinction drawn between external and internal martial arts. But what does this really mean? In my humble opinion, there is no internal or external. Ultimately, it’s all about how you align and structure your body, and how you utilize your tissues and muscles. The human body contains anywhere between 600 and 840 muscles, depending on how they're counted. Are we consciously engaging all of them, or just a select few? Then there's the concept of "Chi" (or "Qi"), a vital energy that, according to Eastern traditions, animates the body. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), qi is divided into two main aspects: the tangible, physical qi derived from air, water, and food, and the more elusive, energetic qi that flows through the body’s channels. This latter form of qi is often cited as the source of internal power. From my perspective, the true essence of internal and/or external (that are the same) force lies in how efficiently we use our body’s energy-whether it’s the energy generated by muscles, tendons, or other bodily structures. The distinction isn’t so much between internal or external, but rather about how effectively we harness our body’s inherent energy. It’s all about mastering your body’s structure and utilizing this energy to execute movements with maximum efficiency.

Damn it's so crazy you look at his back and the way he holds his head you can see the age and degradation. But then his limbs move with so much speed and fluidity. You can still see the power that was once there.

What id like to no is. How did tony obtain so much information in just a very short time. And 95% of others no nothing about real internal wc. Very interesting .i mean not everyone is boo boo. I believe the real art is only passed on to certain individuals. And tony is the only one of seen never ask or did it for money. So year do the math. Great vid
