i got these to they are so fine. especially for me who does not like those kind of markers because they fade. but great for practice. i would not invest the money in good ones so I'm happy as with mine.

It's so good that there is a range of markers in different price brackets and sizes to suit all colorists. I really love that these were available in brush tips and I'm impressed so far with how well they perform. I would have liked to see more reds/purples but perhaps the larger set (out of stock atm) has those. Happy coloring x

@ I’m not into alcohol markers but I’m realy trying so for me they are actually perfect

They are great for quicker coloring and if you use Express Blend it card rather than coloring book paper you can get some amazing effects and blends with them. I like using them at the moment because I'm injured and colored pencils are hard work haha! Glad you are enjoying this medium. Happy coloring x

nice range of colours, do you find them better than Ohuhu? I think these colours could improve with more purples and pinks as there isn't many of them but overall they are decent for colouring. Are you from Australlia? I could tell by the accent ahaha, please do a colouring or drawing video with these colors as I would like to see more of the outcome, thank you if you do my suggestion. I am new to your channel so I will check out your other videos. 🥰

haha yes I am Australian. Sadly for Australians it is not as easy to purchase Ohuhu's than other countries but there is the Ohuhu store at Aliexpress so that's an option. I don't have the Ohuhu's but I do have a large range of Copics and some Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I am still up in the air whether to save up for the Ohuhus or just get refills for the colors I use the most with my Copic sketch markers. The advantage of doing that for me is that Copics are refillable and the refills are easy to purchase in Australia and the nibs are replaceable as well and easy to purchase. Although Ohuhu have some refills now available unfortunately they are not available in Australia :(. There is a larger set of these markers (280 for memory) that I would have liked but unfortunately like most alcohol markers atm the brush tip was all sold out :( I agree they need more purples and really more reds and pinks but hopefully the bigger set has those. I will be coloring a lot from these books as they are so relaxing and I'm nursing an injury atm that makes coloring with pencils painful for me. I can't wait to dive into all of the books that I bought myself for Christmas haha! Happy coloring x

@@coloringqueen that's a shame and a disadvantage as they are very popular and have a large range, I would like to see some colouring videos I think that would be fun and keep you entertained. If you can find it and afford it I think a video similar to this with the 280 markers would be epic, I am sure there is a much larger range! It is good that you have copics to refill, hope you get well soon and the books would be great for relaxing. Happy coloring, I think you should save for Ohuhus if you can, 280markers sounds amazing. x😀

The Ohuhus are still on my wish list haha because I want to have ALL the markers lol! The 280 are out of stock atm but I'll be interested to see what the colors are like are when they come back in! Can't wait to do some coloring with them! Happy coloring x

I purchased this set from Temu last year for AUD $75, and I am pleased with the quality for that price. So far, one color (No. 43) has run out of ink because I use it frequently for backgrounds. I tried to find the same color, labeled "Bronze Green," in another set to replace it, but unfortunately, they all turned out to be different shades. I also bought a set of 168 Ohuhu markers from China because they are much cheaper than in Australia. I honestly can’t tell a difference in quality between the two brands.

That's great! I ended up getting them for $55 AUD with the free sign up gift special that they had. I would have liked to get the 280 set but they were all sold out :( They seem really good so far, very juicy! Sorry to hear that Bronze Green has ran out - can you soak the nib in a bit of Isocol - alcohol to reinvigorate it? It's good to hear about the Ohuhu's. Apparently they do have an AliExpress store and the products are genuine there. It's great to know that there's not a lot of difference between quality between brands as the Ohuhu's are just so hard to get a hold of here in Australia :( I'll see how much marker coloring I end up doing - it's really so much easier with my shoulder injury and I might either try and get the bigger set or just replace the faves with copics. Thanks for sharing your experience with the products! Happy coloring x

@@coloringqueenNo she can't of the bronze green alcohol marker has completely run out of alcohol ink to color with.
@Gardenia51112 күн бұрын
@@coloringqueen I tried adding alcohol to the Bronze Green nip, but it resulted in a terrible color and became non-functional. You had a really good deal with this set of markers. I regret not buying a set of 280 instead of the 168 set, and it always shows as sold out whenever I log on to Temu to check.
@coloringqueen8 күн бұрын
That's a real shame! The only other things I can suggest is contact the company asking for a replacement/refill or see if there is a similar color in Copic or another set. I hope the elusive bronze green is found. Happy coloring x
@coloringqueen8 күн бұрын
They have been sold out now for about a month :( Every time I click they are not available. I've tried to find them at other places but they don't have the large sets or are sold out. I will keep checking though because they were pretty good value for the brush markers. I'm not sure if it is possible/or you tried but often you can take the whole insides out (usually the length of the marker not the nib) soak it in alcohol for 24 hours and then reinsert. If it doesn't have the inner barrel sometimes you can remove the nib and drop some alcohol in there. It may be though that none of that works and the only option is to get a replacement/refill or similar color from another brand. I hope that something works out for you. Happy coloring x

Lee, have you seen the new Sharpies that claim "no bleed through "? They are on a card: R, B.G, Y, Purple; and a card of: black and white. I haven't tried them yet.
@jyemichael13 күн бұрын
are they the acrylic ones or?
@coloringqueen10 күн бұрын
I have seen them but I haven't purchased them. I believe they are acrylic markers (like Posca) so they should not bleed. They would be great for adding highlights (depending on nib size) over alcohol markers like yellow/white/pink especially on the bold and easy style books. I have purchased some acrylic markers recently to do my color by number books haha. I like the fact that the marker covers up the number!

I ordered their skin tone set to try out, i noticed the brushes frayed easily. I was disappointed as i wanted to like them and get the full set.

are you able to flip the nib around? i also got like 10 replacement nibs with my set.

@ give them a swap around see what happens and I just counted there was 5 and they are just loose in the bottom of the bag lol
@coloringqueen10 күн бұрын
aww that sucks :(. Did you contact them for replacement or at least replacement nibs?. I was eyeing the skin tone set as it has pretty colors but I would be really upset if the brush frayed quickly. My spectrum noir markers have a lot of frayed brushes which is really disappointing.
