These movies are really good, except for the constant ads by the new Moron in the White House promoting his shitty merchandise in his latest scheme to bilk the public.

Some of these bit players were also perpetrators in the British tv shows: Mark Saber...this is London and Gideon's Way. That artist guy said "The only murder I committed was on canvas." That painting looked exactly like her!!!!😊

i do wonder, if the blast waive was able to rip down those houses and buildings and tear down the wind mills, why didn't jim and hilda's house not fall down or at the very least not burst into flames?,

All of these fabulous actors and actresses are now gone. I miss them very much. Hardly had I known about Jerome Kern before I came to this video. Now I realize how versatile he was as a composer. His music used in this film has brought tears to my eyes. I hope younger generations will be interested in his music and appreciate his accomplishments. Thanks a lot!

Fun fact about Adam and Eve Lilith came the same time Adam did. Eve was made from the rib of adam but nobody talks about that.

Watching this in Nov 2024. . . I realized that with the results of the USA election (I'm Canadian)this is a possible result. I truly feel that North America, if not the world, is marching towards our eminent d**th. We have only been given the option to support Capitalism or support capitalism while scapegoating others.

i'm very disappointed in black slang- i've waRtched many gangster films from the thirties where they call pistols gats (presumably in an attempt to say don’t forget yo bring your "hat"- i'd reckon to be discreet one would codify it as gat) n heaters (got my gun to keep me warm, or some shit- i'll warm you up- wtfe) and i just heard- bob hope describe hot island chicks as looking like "they’re built like brick pagodas" - perfect lines? idfk- anyway i thot WE appropriated THR "culture"- lol And anyways aren't we ALL 'Mericans? WTFE w that BS

The realization by Amanda (Ms. Young) that her son Andrew thought he was unloved by her and his father, really hit the mark. It explained everything and showed Andrew as a hurt little boy who misunderstood his parents affection.

Isn't this the one that has a quasi-homosexual undertone to it? The script appears to make this look intentional. Nicholson gives one the distinct impression that he is far more interested in his best friend than one might expect. I think beginning in the late 50s through the 60s, filmmakers were really starting to explore this subject, dropping the stereotypical view of a Gay man as always effeminate. For example, films like Blackmail with Dirk Bogarde and The Leatherboys, a cheesy title that actually repudiates the seriousness of its subject matter.

I watched this gem last night, watching tonight & probably watch it again tomorrow night. I love her dear, sweet face & the 2 outlaws are perfect ! Her father’s a loser, her mother not too far behind. We have to start cherishing God’s greatest gift to humanity ❤ so thankful I found this again !😊 that one longish post here was its own “tear jerker” ! Very sweetly & kindly written. God bless you, dear. ❤
