The touchscreen bit didn't age well given that the 2024 model now has a touchscreen. Personally I wish they allowed for both touchscreen and touchpad interaction. Other than that, really great review.

Bargain basement GT car, can’t go wrong there. Nice engine sound too! 718 don’t have that classic sound. 981 GT4 will be a future classic first GT4 ever and truly limited.

This was the exact spec I had on my 2015. Unfortunately it was totaled during a freak hailstorm in the middle of June a few years ago. I miss it, great car.

how was the ride quality on those bigger rims? i have an a6 3.0t with 18in wheels and really happy with the ride, but i also want 19in wheels but i'm not sure if it'll make a difference in ride quality

Unapologetically, a street muscle beast. The ZF 8 Speed brings it to another level, horns up 392 club! Still competitive at the dragstrip and the street, it's smiles per mile.

I have a 2021 infrared red with black interior LC500 base model Arriving soon . I live in Connecticut n I’m having it delivered from Texas .. I have watched so many utube videos the past week .. Can’t wait for it soon

It actually has identical suspension. It just isn't adjustable through the settings like in the SRT. Only difference is 4 vs 6 piston brembos, interior stuff, and srt settings like the suspension instead of the bilstien static set up in the Scat. 4200lbs isn't really all that crazy either now. Camaro and mustangs are 3900lbs now basically. People who talk about its cornering act like dodge markets this vehicle as a track car. For what it is, it's great. Of course it's not going to set track records. That's not what it's for.

Im 18 years old and i had to make a choice between audi s4, audi rs5 , porsche cayman or a bmw m4 as my first car. The cayman is my dream car, but the insurance costs exceeding 1500 usd a year turned out to be a dealbreaker. The M4 is rearwheel drive and i dont want to die so i passed on it. I decided to finally go with the rs5, as suprising as this may sound, insurance is very cheap (300 usd/ year) and it was meant to be reliable, wheres the s4 was expensive to maintain and suprisingly more expensive to insure. So far im very happy with my decision, theres nothing better than having a V8 under the hood and just flying past everyone else on the highway.

I'm now the proud owner of a Z4M! Big thanks to these videos for helping with the decision. I'd love to get close to this sound, while still feeling fairly civilised around town. I believe Stromung is a little quieter than the RPI exhaust which sounds about right for me. I currently have a GruppeM airbox, so I'm pretty happy with the induction sound --- would you recommend headers over the exhaust in terms of noticeable difference? Thanks again my friend!

I had the Mopar performance sway bars installed and it turned the car into a entirely different beast in the handling dept. If you get a shaker, with some work, gut the scoop vents. They are restrictive. I thought about fabing an internal air director. Super fun car to drive.

I have a P2 Volvo s80 none turbo model I’ve had since November. Amazing car, most comfortable seats I’ve ever sat in and such a nice cushy quiet ride. Although a bargain it’s still a luxury car and maintenance on Volvos are expensive but parts galore thanks to iPd! Great video and nice to see it’s getting some love

His had an aftermarket blow off valve for sure but that’s it. Otherwise stock. So easy enough to achieve haha.

Some of the pictures I show toward the end of the video along with how I describe it should be plenty, it’s basically what I told my exhaust guy. Opening them up and replacing the resonator on one side with straight pipe, and the perforated section that leads to the exhaust tip on the other side with straight pipe, then closing it back up haha. *I left the pipes leading into the crossover perforated*

"So much better than the average person really understands". You hit the nail on the head there. I really wanted a S3 exige but bought a 981 S a year ago because I couldn't afford the lotus. I don't feel like I need anything else now because it feels so special. It never fails to put a smile on my face. One option that I think is a must is the sports exhaust, it's basically what's responsible for all the burbles you hear in the video and it makes nailing downshifts an addictive experience.

Others may steer you away from an S6 in general but I think that’s a steal. Budget some money for future maintenance with an independent shop that knows them well, and enjoy. I’d go for it.

Does car have low end torque? What about IMS? I've found an 06 S beautiful car but 20in wheels. ..opinion??

Low end torque is rather subjective. It's far better than an S2000 but it's no Corvette that's for sure. Compared to a base model 2.7L I found it was sigificantly better, and better still if you buy a 987.2 which has a 3.4L DFI engine without IMS. The 06 does have an IMS bearing but 06+ has the smallest chance of failure, and also has the smallest chance of bore score which the 3.4L (up to 2008) suffer from. IMO the best cars are ones with few owners, and a solid service history. Miles aren't bad if they're the right miles and many times it's better than a car that just sits or only does short trips. Just remember there's no more expensive car than a cheap german one. Do your research and get a pre purchase inspection. Good hunting.
