I like that analogy. I understand why some Christians say Jesus 2024. I really do but voting gives us a chance to stand up for the policies that are closest in alignment with a Biblical Worldview. Yes, we do need to surrender to God, but that does not mean that we should act as though Jesus is coming back next Thursday, it doesn’t matter who leads this country. We will be judged for what we did with talents that God gave us in this earth. We should remember that a large number of people say "religion" when they are simply referring to having faith/belief/certainty in God and Jesus. This may well be what Trump meant. However, his statement that "you're supposed to go to heaven..." is an issue as those who know they are going to heaven are less likely to phrase it that way. However, even using those words is often done in a general conversation. Those word choices in and of themselves do not mean very much unless one can show that Trump's faith is shaky. I have found no evidence to support such a belief.

No I don’t think we’re being played because that would have happened in the first term and another way to know whether we’re being played: He kept every promise( Trump) he made during that first term. I do think we as Christians think we need someone as our pastor as President, I for one do not, I have a Pastor but definitely think Pastors need to develop more of backbone in today’s society. I do think if Christians decide to sit it out because they’re not getting a Pastor on the ballot, they truly don’t care about their own family and I can tell you scripture in the Bible that states if don’t take care of your family you’re worse than an unbeliever. Your job as a pastor and minister is to start fasting and praying for him . Criticizing him is opening doors to the evil people and to Satan itself. What pastors are doing lately has no wisdom at all. That's why many are deceived, I asked myself? Are these people really reading the word before they speak, I believe they don't have any relationship with the Holy Spirit at all, the way they speak in public is showing a very specific point. When President Trump declared Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, he was blessing Israel. Like a modern-day King Cyrus, he wanted what was best for Israel, and still does. I believe that his Vice President, Mike Pence, had a quite an influence on the President when it came to such deeper issues that are closer to God's heart. God works his will through people, and the VP and the POTUS are such people in these end times. Trump is on the right path and I believe that the Holy Spirit is leading him. What is this fascination with famous people who may or may not be born again? The bible explains Christians are to surrender Jesus Christ. It's not wise to put your faith in a sinner. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Jesus is the only person who has the authority to forgive sins. He resurrected and overcome death. I will follow him. But as long as I am in this earthly body, I will support anyone who acknowledges the sanctity of life and marriage.

I would suggest that you not criticize Donald Trump's answers in this interview regarding God and the Bible. If he IS a believer in our God, he may not be that well versed in the Bible yet, if he's not a believer in God, he may not be that well versed either. I believe it is unbecoming to single out a person who is a new Christian or is not a Christian at all, and make that person the subject of your critique. Don't forget he has done a lot for Christian freedoms and beliefs, and he recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and he is friendly towards the Jewish people. God must be at least somewhat pleased with him for these reasons alone.

As a Pastor, preaching the gospel to bring about clarity and truth is so important. And I love how Pastor breaks it down in this video. And another viewpoint that I have is that many of us believers know that president Trump does not have a real relationship with God. And with out that comes an inconsistent understanding of the gospel and way of life in spiritual term. I think it’s unfair to jab the president for not fully understanding or not correctly answering questions in regards to spirituality, but rather someone Disciple him and open the door for him to give his life to Christ once and for all. And then hopefully that will transfer in the way he leads. Clearly, the president is for religion, for praying at the schools for allowing Christian to lay hands on him. Now imagine Trump with that clear viewpoint of what it really means to truly believe in God, give your life to him, and live a life that is godly in every way. I believe that God will heal our land.

Trump has a team of pastors working on his reelection team. Has anyone of them sit down with president Trump and explained the Gospel to him in love.
