I'm curious to know why the garment itself has a sort of look like its been washed in bleach? Can this be resolved within blender or is that how this mockup looks overall?

Yeah that’s a new feature. It’s the stonewash effect which can be switched off in the prebuilt photoshop file. Hope that helps

This great but I have a huge question. I have a chest design that overlaps the hoodie pocket. Right now the design is sitting behind the pocket. How do I have it sit on top of the pocket without having to separate the whole design.

You just need to also add your print to the pocket pouch. For a placement like this though, you may need to take a bit of time to ensure it lines up accordingly with the main chest print on the 3D model. Hope that helps

If this is for beginners, then I don't think it was explained fully. Especially never using Blender before. I am confused with the link between photoshop and blender. How does blender know where to put my designs?

The best way to look at this is only using Blender as the 3D generator. Everything else in terms of setting up where your artwork will be positioned on the garment is very much like the traditional cut and sew techniques in textiles. The blender template has been setup to do all of the heavy lifting for you.

It sounds like you need to also update that section with your artwork. Otherwise it’ll be picking up on the placeholder template
