Maybe use water in the hole as you drill through the rock?

Ooh I thought there was a road along the side of the lake. Now I see. You actually drive on top of the lake when it’s frozen. So cool

Explanation: your floor boards have expanded due to the wet weather. If you build something like this w/ boards, you need expansion joints between the boards. So a solid sheet of treated plywood would have been a much better choice.

Jay, let your chop saw get up to full RPM speed before you jam it down on the board to cut it.

Crispy fries agreed wash first,,, I would add to fry them some, than take them out for like 2 min back in then out again for few mins than finish them off as they darken up you where you want them. SUPER CRISPY and soft inside,, it the only way I do them, doing it for 10+ years works EVERY-TIME………. No HOT peppers in the poutine???? OMG NO….😂😂😂😢😢😢

Hi! Long time viewer from Norway here. I suspect the outboard sucks gas and makes a vacuum in the tank, see if there is a venting screw. The drillbit has a sds+ mount and needs a drill that can take sds+. The bracket need a glue that expand and is waterproof, woodglue can work but it needs to be PU glue. The board would not fit because of the Rain and moist so the board got bigger. With admiration and respect, regards, Stig

You'll never get rid of all the starch! But I guess it might help. The water will make them less dry and crispier on the outside.

Jay, I’ve been watching your stuff for a couple of years now. Love it. There is an old comment of mine there somewhere. I’m excited and inspired by your decision. I wish I could do it. Please stay as you, but what does that mean? Go back to your earlier videos where you were struggling with your pallets to go under your winter tent, how to make them level. I was like, this is a bloke just like me stuffing about, struggling, but got the problems sorted and loves the bush. That said, keep making your content better, because why not. Go Jay!

We always put a piece of 1/2" plywood between the 2 x 4s to make a tighter fit.

Buy a decent mains powered impact drill, you have a generator Jay. The guys on the construction sites don’t you battery powered toys to do the big monotonous jobs you mentioned.

Love the attitude. You know that you don't know but are still willing to try with what skills/materials you have, and admit if things go wrong. I'd much rather watch this than an expert who makes everything look overly simple.
