John Radford and Ray Kennedy were a deadly strike force for the Arsenal. It's a shame their partnership was broken when Kennedy was transferred to Liverpool fifty years ago, and Radford transferred to West Ham forty nine years ago.

George Graham and Pat Rice playing for Arsenal in this match and later went on to manage them and John Hollins, David Webb and Eddie McCreadie doing the same for Chelsea. Plus Graham playing for Arsenal in this match having previously played for Chelsea and Hollins and Alan Hudson playing for Chelsea in this match and then later going on to play for Arsenal.

Interesting analysis from the late Jimmy Hill, Arsenal are so hard to beat - nothing much has changed in the last 50 years then...with the exception of the early sixties, Spurs have seemingly always struggled when playing Arsenal.

I was one of the 61.000 fans that day...I think that particular result showed the club we could win it. Most of the previous results had gone Chelsea's way.

Usual anti-Arsenal crap from Jimmy Hill. Alan Ball and that Arsenal team were miles better than West Ham who were nothing better than a long ball pub team..
