I really can't find how to move my track! It doesn't turn into the hand icon for me, there is just a crossed out circle when I hover over the top of the track. I understand the time track tool disappeared in earlier versions. Any advice?

I absolutley cannot get the noise floor to pass acx check despite trying your methods here. Keeps saying its too loud, the room that I am in physically is quiet with no background noise an i set up all the settings like you did in the video here so the only other thing i can think of that would be the problem is the noise from the laptop? which i have no idea how to fix...or any ideas???

I'm on Linux Mint, input "line in" is working, but the Audacity input slider won't wake up on mouseover, no matter which input I select; it's stuck on 100% or as you put it: "0db". My only solution, which is very clunky, is to use the system volume control under "Preferences", "Sound", "Input". It works, though. When I say 'system' I mean you have to go through the "LM" button, it's not part of Audacity. This may help others searching for their 'stuck input volume' solution.
