Is it true that the Share Audio toolbar is not available in Linux? I have 3.7.1 installed on Ubuntu and the button is not there. It's also not included in the list of toolbars under the View menu.

How to extract entire noise and paste it into a new track?? Plz help.

I spent several months studying microphones and listening to what they picked up and how my voice sounded, learned a lot and returned many before I picked the mic I have and I still love it. I personally don't really believe there is is an ideal voice standard and it's a preference. I have unusually good hearing and can hear things most people don't so it's a challenge at times to sort through all the ambient noises. It's a gift and a pain at times. I'm not hard of hearing, i just hear so much more.

Man, I am still struggling with tweaking my recordings so they pass ACX Check. It is like a see-saw. I fix one of the three fails, just to muck up the next one. Argh!!! I am using Audacity 3.7.1

I would like to record with Audacity for ACX auditions. Do you have presets I can use to record, so I pass ACX Checker every time?

Hi, could you tell me where in the processing chain should the declicker be? At the beginning of the noise reduction or at the end after the compressor?

I really can't find how to move my track! It doesn't turn into the hand icon for me, there is just a crossed out circle when I hover over the top of the track. I understand the time track tool disappeared in earlier versions. Any advice?
