I can confirm, no volume activity indicator. 6 days since you notified them yet no fix yet. Hope they prioritize this and get a fix out quickly. Thanks for sharing.

I’m trying to get my audacity to work on my Sonoma iMac computer but it’s not recording properly when the previous version did what am I doing wrong or is it the audacity version that is the culprit here

Thanks for the video. I was planning on downloading Audacity onto my new Macbook Air (Sonoma 14.2.1. I've been wanting to get back into doing voice-overs and t.hought I could make some extra income from doing Audio Books to help off set my rent (I live in CA). So disappointed to see that there is a software incompatibility. I hope a fix comes out soon.

It’s working fine on Sonoma 14.3. Just make sure your MacBook is on 14.3 and Audacity will work fine.

Does anyone who has used the 3.5 Beta know if this problem has been eliminated with Sonoma?

Michael, if you upgrade to the next version of Sonoma, it fixes the problem. Unrelated, but I’ve been using 3.5 Beta for a while now with no other issues.

Upgrading to OS 14.3 fixed it for me.
