To this day. My opinion on the PTB chase music and the current one is that the only people complaining where those who didn’t know Alien that well and were more of wanting music that is cool to “listen” to. But those who know the franchise pretty well and recognize elements like the alarm still look back on the PTB as feeling more “Alien”.

I'm actually really peeved they changed it again. I love this killer, I've made crazy plays with her- but for some reason this version- and this version specifically- of her chase theme gives me horrible tinnitus and I end up being literally unable to play her. I'm praying they change it back because this is a genuine accessibility issue for me.

Not kidding I honesty think this is the best chase music in the game. It just has everything - it sounds creepy, it’s well-composed and it’s so god damn fitting for the character. Sounds even better in game during nightfall accompanied by the tormented screams of the Dredge’s victims
