Hard to think that the original pitch for Inside Out 2 would have had Riley and Val Lesbians and Anxiety non-binary. It was fortunate for Pixar to actually kick out the woke activists, had Anxiety female and Riley and Val's relationship as platonic and less gay as possible. Yes you do see some subtle hints but even with that, this movie doesn't change the fact that this is Inside Out again, and Pixar is still stuck in that woke DEI path. They didn't add any in this movie in order to get them out of the red. That's it!

the ending of inside out 2 really doesn't sit right with me as the ending was they take all the discarded emotions and memories from the back of the mind and make a new sense of self. which should be horrible since its like 99% bad emotions that joy threw away so why does the sense of self thing still become positive. Im not saying the movie was bad just saying that the ending was off to me

I feel like Riley being cold to her friends kinda makes sense? They weren't even going to tell her that they aren't going to the same high school and if Riley didn't ask in the car she wouldn't have known. But some things definitely didn't make sense for her character like breaking in and reading that book 😭

She is acting the way she is due to the influence Anxiety is having over her. It's not because she just feels like being a dick to her friends. I feel like the film makes this very clear. We see several scenes where she even feels bad about it and we see the moments which plant this change in her character. I feel like your doing a disservice to her character by saying this.
