Depends how it is equipped. HVAC, genset, hot water, windlass, cabin galley, etc. Interesting entry level pocket cruiser.

Nothing less than brilliant. For anyone who might want to test the waters of motor boating. This 23-footer has all the minimal accoutrements one might need, for a family weekend cruiser. In the end, if boating isn’t one’s cup of tea the resale value will most likely see your purchase returned to your pocket.

At 7x2.5 meters and under 2.5t dry, it's also theoretically trailerable, albeit you'd need a beast Landrover to tug it along the roads.

Bear in mind that you have the weight of a very substantial trailer to add to that (and it won't ever be 'dry', there will always be some fuel in it). Might still be possible, but would need to be very careful. And, as you say, a substantial vehicle needed.

Ciao Nick, its a little beautiful gem and very reasonably non-extravagantly priced with a nice visible proper toilet! If the boat builders were to make the inside quarters with more standing room height it would also be more beneficial, and a small collapsible metal shade hood at the front where the sun-pads are another asset would help! Hi Nick, That is a long time a go when we saw a entry level yacht on your channel in the past you did this more and also this give us a very nice show so as to day this Salpa 23XL for a nice cruise on the water for the day or a nice weekend with a nice seating around and a small galley inside 2 double beds and bathroom not really standing full size but its there great Thank you Nick this is great 🤗🙃😊do this more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rented one of these in Crostia - loved it - perfect boat for a small family - went to Italy last year and brought back the earlier model, the Salpa 20.5 with a Yamaha outboard (slightly smaller but same layout with 4 berths) - ideal trailer boat or pocket cruiser with affordable running costs. Good morning Nick. Thanks for another excellent tour. Lovely boat. It’s actually kind of funny to hear this one portrayed as an entry level boat. In North America, most people’s first boat is a 16 foot ski boat. Some sort of little family boat to tour around on a local lake, have fun, maybe do some fishing. A 23 footer is pretty grand by comparison. Having said that for perspective, this was a delightful boat with plenty of features and comfort. All the basics included and even a few small luxuries. Well done, again! By the way, I know I comment a lot. I do that for 2 reasons. First, you are my favourite KZbin Channel, and second, I have heard it helps your algorithms.❤

Delightful small boat, Nick. Something that can be considered well within the realistic area for beginners. You know, this seems to be a market segment abandoned by producers.
