Hi Sophie!! I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on fouettés, but the one where the leg goes straight to 90 degrees in front and just stays there, they’re super common in rhythmic gymnastics but I can’t seem to find a single tutorial on them, I don’t even know how they’re called 😅. But uhm yeah 😀, could you?

i was a gymnast for several years when i was younger, from 6 to 14 i think. i was too self conscious to compete and my fears made me give it up completely. when i stopped, my passion for the sport did never leave me, and here i am at 26 years old still as passionate as the first day at the sports hall 20 years ago. i lost all my flexibility after literally 12 years without doing it, but 2 months ago i decided i was determined to get my flexibility back and i did it. i saw your video long ago and i though it was pretty sad that i once did this eveyrday without getting tired, and while watching the video i coulnd't even dream of getting in those positions. but yes today i am doing this again every day and i am extremely happy. it is NOT impossible to get back on track, even after 12 years. all this to say thank you for the video, it is very usefyl :)

wow this is beautiful, tysm for sharing ❤❤ i've also been losing a lot of my flexibility lately and have been going through a similar experience as you just described. so glad to hear you've been able to reconnect with the sport and are able to keep up with your stretching, it's given me hope that i can do the same <3
