I've never handled a Lantac but I have 2 of their enhanced BCGs. I'm sure that you have a fine rifle. 👍😎

Get rid of the aero precision bcg, it’s on the lower end for bcgs and they are known to break the cam pin or the bolt where the cam pin inserts pretty often.

Good stuff, ive had 3 of these, from the snub nose, the 3 inch and the 6.5 inch model. I lovem all but the most useful is definitely the 6.5 inch but i have killed squirrels and rabbits with the snub nose. So you shot those hornady shells, from my testing thats all 3 projectiles in that hole, mine holds a 3 to 6 inch average pattern out to about 25 yards with that load. Another great load for that gun you got is the 2.5 inch federal triple defense, it has 4 pellets of 00 buck. That load spreads a little faster then the hornady if its something youre interested in. From what i have seen on average with mine is about a 2 to 3 inch group with the hornady at 10 yards and about a 4 to 5 inch group with the federal at 10 yards. God bless from ole Carolina.

No, as a fellow Henry owner, I would ask for Henry to replace the rifle or offer me another style of Henry rifle of equal value. I buy Henry’s for the US made quality and craftsmanship!

Colt made these for years with no special ramp inserts or ramped barrels. We have better alloys today with 7075 being much better. Tisas does make a version in 9mm with a ramped barrel that should be ideal. I don't think wear will be an issue in the 45 version. If it ever was, it is a simple job to mill it out for a ramped barrel. I'd rather have the light weight alloy frame, full sized pistol, with the low recoil 9mm. It should have good velocity in the 4.25" barrel and the lighter recoil spring should make it easy to manipulate. The brass bead front sight is a perfectly useful and classic. A no frills practical design.

I agree with you 100 percent ! I know the ruger lightweight commander has a titanium insert in the feed ramp and most other lightweight aluminum frame 1911s use a ramped barrel. Good video , take care and God bless❤

The frames ramp probably needs a little polishing. Other than feeding, ejection problems, and accidental discharged, many PDs issued 1911s. You should've seen all the bullet holes they had. Many went to Sig 220s. No problems of any kind.

The language Tisas uses to describe the guns ramp seems to me the frame is ramped. All 1911s frames are ramped, otherwise it wouldn't cycle. My friend bought one because he thought it was ramped. I showed him mine, which is the exact model he has, and the barrel is not ramped. I've shot aluminum framed Colt Commanders .45s for about 40 years and not a crack in the frame. I'd probably worry about an aluminum framed gun with a ramped barrel installed. In order to install a ramped barrel lots of metal needs to be removed. I doubt that would be a good idea, unless someone fancies a weakened frame. So I believe theirs a language barrier with Tisas description. I've seen lots of them and not one barrel was ramped.

Thank you for the comprehensive review of the revolving carbine. Those were used a bit in the 1800’s in various forms. One I recall was the Beals Revolving Carbine. Never had one or fired one so your presentation was well worth watching. Your cautionary note was really vital. God Bless.

I have sent to Henry and Ruger to the company's gun request idea to make a lever gun in the old 348 Winchester to revive that old favorite cartridge. If you think a lever gun in the old powerhouse 348 Winchester would be the thing them join me in you also writing to those company's and request a 348 Win be made again in a lever gun

Great and honest video. Thanks! I'm lookin' into buying this precise model of the TISAS 1911 while I wait to get a SPRINGFIELD Ronin (also chambered in 10mm) 'cause where I live right now it's looking like a waiting period of at least 8 months before I can get one, however the Gunshop which I know and where I'm a regular customer of has a few units of this TISAS pistol. Incidentally, 'cause of the import duties and the difference in transfer costs and shipment charges, the "Ronin" and the "D10" might likely end up being less that $185 apart when all the bits and bolts are added up. So price point ain't that relevant really, but quality is. I'm most curious about your discovery on the SIG SAUER magazine being the same as the one used by TISAS: I wonder if when they sell them under the SIG SAUER brand they charge the same as they charge for the TISAS'. 🤔

Ive noticed this on my brass 45-70. The bolt touches the hammer on the return. Pushing upwards as the bolt rides over the hammer. If only the hammer locked in a slightly lower position then there would be less pressure on the bolt returning

You were commenting on the front grip being a little slick. You might consider adding skate board tape, or "Dragon Grip" tape to the grip front to increase your hold on the gun.
