I’ve been wanting to pick up another 10mm. It’s between the Yukon and a Springfield xdm elite. 2 totally different guns. Makes it a bit harder to choose.

I’ve not had any experience with the Springfield xdm elite they’re nice looking guns though.but in my opinion you wouldn’t go wrong with the Tisas Yukon.

I missed out on the Dan Wesson 10mm CBOB, so I'm looking at getting the Yukon after this summer. Just FYI, I have a 6" SA TRP Operator and a 5" Dan Wesson Silverback, both in 10mm. Looking for a commander length 1911 for winter carry.

God Bless You, Sir! I have the Tisas Duty, chambered in 45 ACP, 5” barrel, and it proven to be spot on at 50 yds. Your video has given me a sign from above that the Yukon is to be ordered without haste. My appreciation to you Sir is beyond measure. I believe that 4.25” barrel is perfect for the power of the 10mm. Quick question though, is the stiffness of the recoil spring negligible or is one more noticeable than the other? Thanks again for the video and any assistance you might be able to provide in relation to my question.

I like the Yukon. The one my gun shop has that a poorly fitted barrel that could be pushed down. Maybe the next one that comes in will be fitted better

I wish they made a version of either with a Picatinny rail on the dustcover. A fullsize handgun like that is likely to be a bedstand gun or woodscarry. Either way, predators tend to be nocturnal. I like to have a light on those types of handguns. I know they made the Night Stalker, but the holes in the slide ruin that one for me. You don't need to lighten the slide of a 10mm. The problem with 10mms isn't inadequate slide velocity. It is excessive slide velocity, which is why we often put heavier springs in them even without to Mickey Mouse retarded holes in the slide. Plus, if I am woods carrying my pistol 30 miles from civilization, I want to minimize the opportunities for ingress of debris into my defensive tool. I want a Gov model 1911 with a light rail and no stupid holes in the slide that doesn't cost 1800 bucks or require tools for basic maintenance. I didn't think I was asking for much...
