Being a casual/hobbyist is fine. Hobbyists keep the gym lights on. But telling competitors not to jump guard in competition because of the hazard of injury is just ridiculous. And wanting to go for submissions is admirable, but giving up dominant positions to do so isn't smart (points or not), and isn't conducive to more 'fun' jiujitsu as you would seem to think. There's nothing fun about watching two people literally voluntarily rolling over onto their back with no real submission threat.

I’m an HVAC technician and I bought our spare van from my boss since the dealership only wanted to give them $2000 for the van which is a 2007 Chevy express 2500. I just want to insulate it and do a solar kit. I have a travel trailer but I like to go out prospecting for gold so a lot of times I’ll just crash in my truck so getting the van allows me to take more tools plus throw a cot down but it was 20* the other night and sleeping in that un-insulated was cooler than sleeping in the tent lol. With the tent I’d use my Mr buddy heater and it worked awesome in the van it doesn’t have enough ventilation so it shuts the Mr buddy off. Anyways great video and build. I gave you a sub so I can keep up with your build plus I love me some jits 😊

I was at lunch about 7 years ago, I has ham sandwich. I think it was out of Davidson saskatchewan. Flat there eh. Saskatchewan. Anyway the ham was made of cow, so it was a beef sandwich I suppose. Anyway, beef is big in saskatchewan. The bread was a sour dough. They had the starter in the back but they wouldn't show me eh, the starter, for the bread. I kept driving after my meal and I thought about a beef sour dough and how that hit the spot. The spot was kind of right in my belly area. And I thought man I need another but I was past Davidson and on my way to saskatoon. Anyway, I went to saskatoon and there ain't shit there place is a fucking hole right. So I went to p.a. city of dreams. There no sandwiches there but there's a bjj club that I got to sometimes, I feel like I saw the one guy in the video at that club.

I like sourdough. I was in Davidson once before they had sandwiches, and I competed in a jiu jitsu tournament. It wasn’t actually organized - it was just four guys who all wanted the gas station bathroom at the same time. There was a tall guy there who I think worked there and he told us to fight for it. I used my jiu jitsu skills to backwards somersault out of there and use the outside of the building. I don’t have any video from that tournament. And that’s why I love sourdough.

Thanks! I lack the speed of a wrestler, and as much as I practice proper form, I still drop my head like I did in this match. My ability to navigate to the side with my neck in a noose is a product of getting caught here all the time. It’s tough for opponents to lock in much when I shoot for single legs. Double leg shots are 💀 for me. I’ve watched you toss people to the ground in many of your videos, but now that you mention it, I don’t recall a lot of shots…. I look forward to seeing some blast doubles!
