Good comparison and promise with both shoes. Quick tip - if you go with your US sizes by brand, every shoe should be true to size. With the US-UK conversions, Adidas, Hoka and NB are 1/2 size small. It’s always worked for me…

CM sizing is best, but US sizing matches the CM sizing the most. UK and EU sizing are not consistent across brands. Indeed Adidas, NB, Hoka, run half a size small interms of length

100% agree, a top tip. I am usually a uk size 11…but if I go off the US size 12, I get the right size for each brand every time.

Having Deja vu with these two although I know this is different. I'm talking about when ASICS Metaspeed Sky Paris vs. Metaspeed Edge Paris came out and determining which is for whom because of the plate position. Sky for long striders and Edge for cadence runners. Just looking at AP4 and Saucony rockers, it looks like AP4 more suited for cadence runners and saucony for those that have longer strides- I could be wrong though!

These both have me intrigued but are they worth the money over the saucony pro 4 that ive tried and tested and can't fault. Definitely very similar concepts for both shoes.

I can’t wait to get my hands on the Endorphin Elite 2. Would love to wear it for the Seville Marathon, but scheduled release is not til after. Then again, the Pro 4 was released almost a month before schedule this year - wishful thinking! 😂

Fan of soft but bouncy midsoles, both of these are intriguing. being in the states i go by US sizing usually but the CM measurement seems to be pretty accurate in my experience. Funny how adidas running are short. I also hoop in their bball shoes, i have to go down half or even full size.

Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m giving them both a pass😂. Just waiting for my Puma DNE3’s to be delivered direct from Puma with there new colourway. Ran in a mates pair and they just felt more natural and fluid than other super shoes. Nice video and nuts we now receive reviews before shoe releases which I actually think helps

Foams are comparable because the new Saucony foam is also TPEE based like Lightstrike PRO. Both are using airy version of the same material. It is interesting that industry is made moves away from PEBA (first PUMA with ATPU).

The Pro 4 seems to be short in length but fine in everything else, the Saucony is narrow in the toe box, I don't think going up half a size would change that, it could be loose on you.

I think going up half a size would solve the problem in the pro 4 but not in the Saucony, since the problem with the pro is length and the Saucony's is the width in the front, the other is the availability.

How do you think the Elite 2 is like vs the endorphin Pro 3. Have raced in Pro 3, and loved it..but I avoided the OG elite because I heard it was really firm and aggressive. Would love to find a replacement for my marathon in late April. Currently have the Cielo X1, but it’s too heavy to take the marathon distance.

I recently bought the ADIDAS PRO 4 and I was honestly disappointed. The new midsole is too soft, much inferior to the previous version. I want to clarify that I bought this shoe looking for performance for competition and not for light and comfortable training. In this sense, the ADIDAS PRO 3 is actually much superior to the 4. Since I consider a certain firmness in the midsole to be essential for real performance, I am a big fan of the Saucony Elite version 1. But from all the review videos I have watched of this version 2, this is a model that I will never want to buy. If I already think the ADIDAS PRO 4 is too soft, imagine this mix of butter and marshmallow in this midsole of the Elite version 2! No way. And my problem has never been instability, because I don't have this type of problem running on asphalt. Maybe on some very difficult trails, yes. The issue really is performance. And not in the first few kilometers when you are at full strength. The problem is when fatigue starts to set in and you need to maintain a good pace, whether in a quality training session or in a competition. That's where soft footwear can trip you up, sinking along with your pace.
