YEP! my dad had that issue when our good horses all passed away and they took my brother in laws up in the mountains. They all got together and went all the fricken way past the trail head, back up the side of the mountain where we leave the trailers. I wasn't there that trip but i guess it was a nightmare and its some very rugged country. Still, they can carry a crap ton of weight tho. Way more than them goats ever would.

A goat makes milk, with 3 specific developmental phases (like a human mother) for it's specific baby, also synched with 3 specific developmental phases of the baby (.)

Goats can be the sweetest and most challenging of creatures - made perfectly by God but working on the side for satan; hence the baphomet.

Horses produce milk too. It just seems weird in western culture, but the Mongols used horse milk extensively as part of their diet.

I love goats too. I was raised in the southern California desert with Nubian goats. They were amazing. They were my best friends. And I had to get up and milk them at 5 o’clock every morning from about nine years old to 18, but I loved my goats.❤

This is funny you say this, I know some people that were using goats for hunting and backpacking and many people have made fun of them for years, but they have some absolutely incredible Adventures because the goats can pack a shitload of weight for their size, and they'll go anywhere and can eat literally anything available. Make sure you have a firearm so you can protect them from cats and other stuff but they are great creatures for adventures i agree

Goats act like a dog with hooves that eat vegetation. They will play with you, cuddle with you, and even play with a ball and bring it back to you. Plus you don't have to worry about them stepping on your foot and breaking it. Also goats are excellent cimbers and can get into places a horse can not. Yeah you can ride a horse but smaller critters like goats are way better to have around. Also goats will eat almost anything along the trail. Thorny vines and all kinds of stuff thats in front of you, put your goats just ahead of you and they will eat you a clear path. I've always treated goats like a dog. You walk up to them and pet them and hug them and scratch them and brush them and sit down on the ground and they will sit next to you and even cuddle with you. You can cuddle with a goat in cold weather to keep warm. You can't cuddle with a horse very well to stay warm, unless you want to do the Luke Skywalker thing and crawl inside of it... No thanks.

They also seem to have stronger family bonds. My does will sleep with their adult kids. I had an 11 month old wether who kept crying for his mother because she had new kids so she got separated from him.

Just made my stand. I took an old table for the bottom, I just cut it in half and cut the legs off and attach new legs. As I stated to cut the wood it all became clear how it fits together. I alter it just slightly to accommodate my crew. It’s a fantastic design, from my biggest, Coco 235lb and tall, to my smallest Honey girl 161 and short legs. I recommend this design. It can hold a grain bin or I can put it up to a hay holder. It’s easy sturdy but with just a little give so goats don’t feel completely locked down, but it holds them safely. Thank you again.

Thank you very much for the feedback. I’m so glad you found that a good design for your operation. M
