He never asks them why they just follow a trail, like sheep - why they don't make their own way across some wilderness. With GPS now, it's never been easier or more feasible. Even as 'safe'. Maybe Americans like playing Follow my Leader. I get that impression.

Read up on the true stories of missing persons and murder on the trail.i think these folks are oblivious.no gun, probably no bear spray.some that went missing were exmilitary too.

I’m going to do my first thru-hike this summer. But I’m starting with the Buckeye Trail which is much closer to shelter and civilization. Definitely got to do some research before doing a more remote hike.

I did the whole state of Alaska and back in 1975 gear was heavy. Survived -69 below. Trip took 2 full years. Just my buddy and we lived off the land. Did the AT trail in 1980. Adventures I will never forget BOB www.angelfire.com/nj4/rescue

Love your videos! I grew up hiking the White's with my dad and other sections of the AT. I'm so glad he instilled in us kids the importance of connecting with nature while he was here. ❤ Watching these feels like visiting him. Thank you for sharing.

Hey! We met yesterday Stickman. You and your friend were checking out my friend and my roof top tent (RTT). Good meeting you. I wanted to get your and your friend's contact info. Was interested in the CLC trailer. I'm not sure how to get you my contact info without posting it here but if you have a way of contacting me through this comment, please do so. Thanks and good meeting you!
