I imagine the number of people hiking the trail in 2020 and 2021 must have spiked considerably

LOL! Thanks for the location update on Scoutmaster. I was a scout leader (committee) for 13 years. My son is an Eagle Scout.

Good news is Funsize and Scoutmaster are in NH. Old soul had to get off for a little while to help her mom, but, she got back on and is in NY. Blackbeard, Sour Patch, Mainer and T5000 just crossed the VT/NH border 2 days ago.

Memory is the most hilarious trail name story ever. I hope she keeps using it as she grows up.

Wow! Many thanks to you Stickman for all of your efforts in doing these videos. You have no idea how much I enjoy seeing them. It's truly inspiring to me and others I am sure. Keep on doing them if you feel the desire. The trail has become so familiar to me it's as if I am there. I started thinking about a thru hike in 2006. My sister came down with cancer so I spent 4 years until she passed away taking care of her needs and estate. The feeling is still like a fire inside of me to get out there and hike. In reality though my body will never hold up to the hike. I am enjoying seeing all of the videos you post and Jimmy's Trail Interviews. Many thanks to all the people who provide trail magic for all these unknown people. It's amazing to me. Caring, Kindness, beautiful people.

Thanks for the reply. I'm glad you enjoy the series! You state that "your body would not hold up to a thru hike" - take a short hike to a near shelter and have a blast. with the hikers. Regards, Stickman

Hey Stickman! We met at the Maupin Field Shelter March 30th & 31st, chatted a bit by the spring behind the shelter. You'd mentioned to stop by your channel and say hi, when we spoke of it & I told you I'd watched it. I was the hammock guy & long distance section hiker with the group from the Va Beach REI. Anyways, Hey there! & It's Great to see the new video up, and I hope you're doing great! See ya on the trail

Indeed - I do remember our spring side chat. Surprised find your comment! I just returned from knocking down 56 miles north out of Pearsiburg, VA. I have 76 miles to mop up and then I’m just short of being half done with the trail. I will pick up in Harpers Ferry, WV. Thanks for watching.

@jeffs62296 жыл бұрын
StickmanWilmingtonNC I met them around the Roan Highlands and took them to dinner after getting into Boots Off Hostel at Hampton, TN. Great folks and both will finish no problem. FunSize getting her triple crown is a really big deal. Thanks for the videos!
