When you checked the plug on the rear of the alternator to Earth and you had to have the ignition on does that mean running or just the key turned?

I replaced the alternator over a month ago an battery didn't die for about 2-3 days then started again. I had the battery checked and they said it was good. And they said alternator had bad voltage regulator so they replaced it and I putthe New One on and battery still dies. Only when the truck is running tho. I feel like the chances of the auto store giving me two bad alternators is low. could it be the wires from battery to alternator?

It has always held charge when the truck isn't on. Its only while running, I checked the battery with the multimeter after turning the truck off and after couple minutes it seemed to recharge back to 12v

But when I drive places I gotta stop somewhere to charge battery when it dies. Don't have money to to take it to a mechanic rn so trying to figure it out myself. I'm not mechanic by any means but I know alittle. Just not much about electrical

While it is possable to record cassettes onto the computer, unless somthing very special that you can not rebuy on a more moden format i cant recomend. you would need to recored the output of a cassette player on to the computer and edit it into tracks would be alot of work.

Hello. I want to fit one of these to my 159 TBi with the M32 gearbox, my factory linkage bushing popped off and seems generally pretty perished. Just wanted to ask a small clarification, are you supposed to grease both the ball joint and the rod end? or just greasing the ball would be enough. Thanks!

Sorry we don't sell these for 6 speed gearbox with cables, but it can't help to grease all moving parts
