This works 100%, own a old 2004 ford focus, garage wanted £100, I did it without taking it of the car in 45 min. Advice!!!!! Get a few longer nuts and bolts, I dropped the nuts and couldn't retrieve them, ended up using a longer bolt. One of the jobs anyone can do, just a bit fiddly. Thanks

It happened today just driving along in the rain when all of a sudden the wipers stopped working ((How dangerous)) couldn't see a thing had to use my hand to wipe screen. Managed to get back home though as I wasn't far away :) lifted the bonnet and I can hear the wiper motor working but the wipers arn't moving.

Thanks for gettin back to me,, took it to my local garage and you was right about the socket,, they tried to find the part only one place in Norfolk had it the price was £170+ vat + fitting WOW that neally made me faint ,, they going to try to refit it somehow on the old one. In the mean time I'll try to find the part cheaper. Cheers again, btw it's a ghia 04 plate

my mk1 popped it's ball joint last week and it's been a nightmare trying to get anywhere in the rain. i can pop it in by hand but it's just a matter of time till it pops itself out again. just found your listing and placed my order. i hope this works because i'd rather scrap the car than pay £150 to get the wiper linkage replaced.

Sounds like the socket is worn and has come off the ball joint, to be sure you would need to remove the black plastic trim, if it has the repair plate will prevent it coming from off again

Will this fit a 2011 Ford Cmax 1.6TDCI wiper end. The joint looks exactly the same and has the re-drilled hole. I have ordered some anyway as I can see no reason it won't work.
