When Ringo watched what Doc did with the cup, he probably was the only in that room who realised what Doc was really capable of and it scared him...

The Latin "battle": Doc: In vino veritas. (In wine there is truth) Along with being a gambler, Doc is a heavy drinker. Just prior, he said he hated Johnny because he reminded him of himself and later because Johnny is an educated man. Doc acknowledges that he is speaking more frankly than he otherwise might to a member of a criminal gang - yet that he means what he said. Ringo: Age quod agis. (Do what you’re doing.) Members of the Jesuit order use this Latin phrase to those undergoing Jesuit formation that they should focus intensely on their work. In English, we might say “Concentrate on the task at hand” or “Do what you’re best at.” Here Johnny makes a high-handed insult that the task at hand was Doc’s drinking. Doc: Credat Judaeus Apella, non ego. (Let the Jew Apella believe it, not I.) This is a quotation of Satires by the ancient poet Horace. In book one, satire five, people were trying to convince travelers that miracles were taking place at their shrines. Rather than a simple “I don’t believe you,” this phrase is utterly dismissive. In English, we might say it as “Go tell someone who will believe it.” Doc is likewise brushing off Johnny with an added threat of his own: “Drinking is not what I do best,” obliquely hinting at his reputation for being a quick draw. Ringo: Iuventus stultorum magister. (Youth is the teacher of fools.) Johnny is the younger of the two, but with this line and by tapping his pistols, he implies that Doc is the inexperienced one unaware of the danger he’s enticing and that Johnny will be the one teaching Doc a lesson. Johnny could have conveyed similar meaning with “Don’t bite off more than you can chew, boy.” Doc: In pace requiescat. (Rest in peace.) This phrase is a common fixture of grave markers with which Doc warns that Johnny should beware the danger at hand and foreshadows the showdown between Doc and Johnny later in the film - “It’s your funeral, bub.” Source: movies.stackexchange.com/questions/97881/what-is-the-meaning-of-the-latin-exchange-between-doc-holliday-and-johnny-ringo

TERMNATOR is far superior as a retro killer cyborg programmed for destruction then a sophisticated reprogrammed protector. Arnold as a killer cyborg and the 80s b movie look is sorely missed. T2 looks great and is a decent flick but not a sequel to the first film. T2 is too soft and clean looking a great product of the first film bur works better as a stand alone piece . Skynet would never wait to the 90s to kill again the true sequel took place again in the 80s maybe a few months after. MISSED OPPORTUNITY at least T 1000 and the future war scenes were cool.

Can you imagine the hilarity of an Aliens spoof skit..the Marines doing there walk through trying to figure out what happened at Hadley's Hope...and when entering the nest...they see the Aliens sitting around just glancing at the marines...while enjoying tea time 🤣🤣

I watched this movie so many times and it s really a shame that VK wasn’t nominated for an Oscar. For me is clear that DOC knows that sooner or later Wyatt Earp will have to face Ringo. Doc also knows that Ringo is faster that Wyatt. Doc is willing to give his own live to his friend. But I believe that DOC doesn’t really know if he can beat Ringo.

The scene perfectly illustrates the contrast between the 2 gunfighters: Ringo spent the earlier part of the movie impressing people with his gunplay and intimidating everyone, while Doc amused him, studied him, and never showed more than he needed to. But when Doc was ready, there was never any hesitation, and he never started the fight, even when he challenged him for the last time as he just saw it as unfinished business. Both were deadly, but while Ringo was in it for glory and thrills, Doc was in it to kill if him or Wyatt was threatened. One killed for thrills, the other when it was called for, and didn't miss. And Ringo died so that Wyatt would live. Great storytelling.

We just don't get Class Actors like this no more.. Honestly I feel like this cast got screwed over money wise, when you look at the Networth of actors from the couple gens later. We have talentless uncharacteristic SM where dolls now, it's embarrassing. Tbh if they tried to make this today Jenette would probably get a angry mob after her for being white & playing another colour.. I hate the now. Nothing but rubbish comes out now because they'd rather make films and use actors with a political ideology instead

Trademark line, cigarette pull, step-smoke release-head lift-peripheral light leaving half of his face in shadow… I think it’s one of the most artful, exquisite entrances (especially surprise entrances) into a scene in all of film making. Masterful performance and masterfully shot. So brilliant.

The casting alone in this film was unbelievable. Val definitely deserves his flowers for his role as Doc Holiday, but the chemistry between the actors. It's like their characters really have known each other for years. Powers Booth and Michael Biehn have great on screen chemistry. Michael and Val. Electricity in the air man! Val and Kurt... You can feel their bond! Last charge of Wyatt Earp and his immortals! That shit still gives me goosebumps 30 years later.

Dana Delaney raised the heat in the Saloon a few degrees by just watching the ''play of Doc and Ringo''with Wyatt sitting there ready to fire that shotgun into the outlaws .Ringo's life was only a matter of time after this moment.
