I've recently purchased a 2021 face-lift model which only comes as an auto, has the recaro seats standard and has a much more modern looking infotainment system. Annoyingly it also comes with a second cat to conform to some new eu emissions crap which unfortunately means it's killed alot of the exhaust crackles but it still sounds pretty good. Honestly, I can't say I've even noticed the rear steering and as for the stiff ride... yes it's stiff and there is very little body roll but it's not crashy. I was expecting much worse and even the wife doesn't hate the ride. I'm not sure I love the car yet but also not had too many clear roads so far to really put it to the test. It does feel eager to please with no real turbo lag which is a major plus. If I had criticism, maybe it lacks a bit of top end. Oh and the Bose sound system is sweet!

I bet most of these comments who are grieving about little things don't own these cars. I came into the comments to see how the "owners" feel about these cars great comments by them btw; but everyone else trying to pick the video apart to find something negative just shows the jokes write themselves great video now I'm more leaning more into a RWD 240

Your mistake was purchasing an M240i that did not have adaptive suspension.

I’ve had mine for a month now and absolutely love it. It’s my second M240i and the 2024 is so much better tech wise and driving. Love the way it looks too.

Video is total clickbait. He loves the car, and everyone I've talked to who bought one loves it too. They are a ball to drive and throw into corners, and they are comfortable too! The looks are not my cup of tea, but on the performance front, BMW nailed it.

Just bought the Australian version of this; it’s called the Golf R Special Edition here, and there are only 400. It comes with the Akrapovic exhaust and bigger brakes, Pretoria alloys, and a Dynaudio sound system. What a car.

Well that was a depressing misinformed video by someone who doesn't know much about BMW high performance vehicles. I bought an M240i xdrive last month and it is a beautiful car to drive , phenomenal acceleration , superb road handling , wonderful interior , very comfortable to drive around town and on long journeys and retains the classic BMW looks with the distinctive kidney shape grills. I've owned 4 M3's the E46 and E92's and this little M240i iis up there with them . very poor video based on bias ill informed opinions.

We'll no doubt look back at this car and miss it, mainly because of the formula it offers, rwd, 6 speed, inline 6, but that'll be most sports cars of this time or past. When shopping for a used M2, i have a suspicion that the previous generation is going to be harder to get. I've owned an OG LCI, and currently an M2c, and these cars have an interior that'll age well and an exterior that'll be compared to that of the e46 generation m3's, timeless. As far as replacing it, i dont see the g platform as a replacement, honestly, at the time of writing im interested in trying out something new and dying such as the mustang dark horse, ive never owned a mustang or a rwd v8 car but besides the insane screen on the inside and squished rear end look, ive been seeing reviewers light up when driving them but ideally if i can afford it a CT5 V Blackwing.

A lot of the traditional natural enthusiasts for RX throughout the years are seniors and they prefer the previous conservative, proportional to the body shape grill, indeed. And the new up screen is also not as wise in comparison with the previous commanded in more safely manner using the jock stick without interfering so much with the safe driving which is a problem with the far away touch screen. It’s funny that the young presenter’s opinion is in conflict what mature senior drivers like. It’s 308 hp, not what he misrepresented as well. It’s not only CVT box according the video presenter, but advanced eCVT in reality. It’s a hybrid synergy drive, which is different than a lot of other hybrids. He is wrong also with the notion that the high voltage battery location reduces the trunk cargo volume. Since 450h battery location is under the rear seats, the trunk cargo volume of 40 cubic ft is a record large among the competition & almost doubles with rear sits folded.

Strange as my M240i gets there in 3.86 seconds as standard,3 times all under 4 seconds
