Just to comment on the foundation stuff... At least for PC. If you click into build and then go to abandon - It will drop the plans and leave you with the foundation to do with as you please without having to damage any of it.

How do I increase the radius of the circular buildings?

This video was very helpful as I'm trying to build a "Warehouse" for all my storage and crafting things. If that goes well I may build a "garage" and build all 3 vehicles. My problem is I can't find level ground say for the garage so the cars can just drive in. Got any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated. Would love to see more "How To" video's as I'm trying to learn on the fly.

This was before Serenity and Impatient was a thing. Now you can swap out muscle for serenity and fero with impatient and get an autocannon dragon.

@CurtisBuilds If you use the mod build and decorate anywhere you can take over the Deserted Bunker POI's as military outpost and build around it. The poi has security walkways that are on top of high walls that surround the whole place. A KZbinr by the name of Cornelius has done a video of what they look like called Starfield - Deserted Bunker, Rare POI. If you wish to use them or see what they look like. Another KZbinr by the name of StandardFries has two videos on how to take over poi's as outposts.

LOVE that ship design! That´s the way. Like flying a Japanese sports car, here we see the new Toyota Celica 2022 or MX-5 inspired ship class, so much better than flying an ugly oversized 1 squaremile sized steel mass of dozens of hubs galleys and freight containers more or less randomly glued together. Compulsive hoarders also need a mod to get 3 or 5 tons of cargo in one 1x1 freight hub to build realistic compact ships. The freight containers are absolute ridiculous and almost useless too if not modded, one standard ISO-container for current earth trucks and cargo ships can normally carry 25 tons of cargo.... not a maximum of two gallons of water bottles and a pack of ramen noodles like in Starfield.... ;D

I like videos and mods very much. The winter mod looks awesome, but it should be mentioned that if you use any mods that you will not get any achievements.

Can you build a realistic ship something a full crew would need for long voyages in space away from civilization also brig for bounties. Living area for crew to sleep and have down time but also a mess hall because makes sense for a place for all crew to eat. Battle station and engineering bay so a ship that makes sense for crews to live on long term at times

love this ship, im at ng+4 and this is the only ship i build =) i have visualy modified mine tho :P kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX-Zn3-vhZ2SgqM and i do have more weapons than your are normaly allowed to have, all but the cannons are hidden, after loosing a 700h savefile cause of a bug i dont care about the weapon limit any more :P

Hi Curtis I noticed u r just clicking & BAM! everything is the correct height & u are not fiddling with anything. I need help! I'm trying to build a base in a volcanic crater BUT for the life of me I can't get my landing pad (the big round) OR the small square 1 to raise & lower where I place it. I'm on PC & using an Xbox controller but even the keyboard shortcuts don't work. I'm about to just dump base building & say the hell with it.
